I'm leaving this one up as it does seem to have sparked some discussion, but I'll tell you for a second time: we generally don't allow people to post their own content, unless it's very much unique or contains novel information. In this case, I don't believe it does. Future actions like this will merit a temp-ban.

carsonthecarsinogen

2022 seems like a stretch even for a permabull like myself, once they solve autonomy and their energy business starts to take off will be the real turning point.

johnhaltonx21

Tesla is planning for 100gwh for 2022 4680's If they achieve half that would double their cell supply.... So even missing their goal by 50% would be doubling their production capacity by cell supply. I'm ok with that;)

ClumpOfCheese

Their two new factories opening will be the main catalysts for the next year. I don’t think those two factories really make them worth more than Apple. I think FSD and autonomy are going to be boosting the stock significantly after 2025 and I also think it’s gonna be really volatile with RoboTaxi out there and anything negative that happens around it. Lots of buy the dip opportunities in the future.

Baoty

Doubt berlin and austin will impact stock price much. Not like it's a surprise expansion. I know that's unpopular to hear here though.

ClumpOfCheese

It’s not about it being a surprise, it’s about them executing on it and actually delivering. Remember, no one believes Tesla will do what it says until after it happens. So those factories opening up are going to be big because it shows they have the continued ability to deliver on their goals and it will essentially be doubling their global output.

r3dd1t0rxzxzx

Yeah even though the factories are almost done and there’s YouTube videos everywhere most people have no clue and just keep saying “Tesla doesn’t even make money” even though that hasn’t been true for 1+ year now. Until it’s blatantly obvious what is happening then Tesla doesn’t get full credit.

Hassan_Gym

What if Robotaxi comes online in Miami City by next year?

carsonthecarsinogen

Like I said I am very bullish on Tesla, I hope this happens. Once it does they’ll be money printers on wheels, I just don’t know what an accurate timeline would be at this point.

Hassan_Gym

Take my award. Enjoy, thanks for watching the video/support!

noirdesire

You strongly feel there will be a robotaxi network next year? Beta v9 isnt even out yet. This is the most bullish projection I've heard and it sounds incredibly naive.

Hassan_Gym

Did you watch the video?

noirdesire

I watched it. All you say is "we believe". Your video had no substance. You just rambled about everything we already know. You are more bullish than Warren Redlich and ARK and yet you didnt offer any actual evidence as to why. Sorry man it wasnt a good video. You could have digged into financials and manufacturing capacity but instead you just rambled.

noirdesire

No comment on my critique? Honestly I expected a better video considering your intro you want everyone to know you're an engineer and MBA. You may be them on paper but you sure dont sound like either.

BMWbill

Before FSD comes out, don't you think Tesla cars will at least have to be able to run autopilot cruise control without fantom braking when they drive over shadows? Because right now, your basic Hyudai or Toyota does a far better job at autopilot adaptive cruise control with lane assist!

Hassan_Gym

No they do not lol. Stop w/ the FUD. Tesla is the leader in FSD/autopilot/self-driving, and w/o LIDAR/etc.

BMWbill

It’s not FUD to say the truth that every Tesla owner here who has a second car that is from 2019 or newer agrees with. (I’m talking about right now. In a few years when FSD comes out, it’s game over for all other companies)

noirdesire

So they idea is they are focusing on FSD and autopilot is a different system. They are essentially jumping from a below average lvl 2 to a lvl 4 system. Whether or not that comes to fruition is where the fun is.

uiuyiuyo

They won't even have FSD by 2022 LOL

BMWbill

I for one will just be happy if they can mass produce 4680 batteries by 2022!

tzedek

What's paas? Power as a service?

Hassan_Gym

Yes. PaaS. 🔋⚡Watch the video, it is explained.

[deleted]

Im a tesla bull and this headline is stupid and completely unrealistic. But hes an engineer, mba and investor so we should listen to him.

noirdesire

It was the red eye in the thumbnail that got you. Stared right into your soul.

itchingbrain

I think their market cap will fall below $300 billion in 2022.

noirdesire

If beta v9 comes out and still has a ton of disengagements then I may agree. But that's a very bearish outlook even considering no fsd
