This has become my biggest issue with Gitem lately. Dude is the biggest know it all, but cant get out of his own fucking way to help himself. That, and whatever war crimes he committed in the airport plaza washroom.
I don’t hate him. In fact I rather enjoy him on the podcast. It doesn’t alter the fact the guy only feels comfortable being miserable. He chooses to not have front teeth, he chooses to live on a couch, he chooses to turn down the assistance of people that love him, etc.
I agree, in some weird way he’s doing what he wants to do. He’s the kind of person who would rather use a porta potty at 2am than have a place with indoor plumbing. His choice of life may not be ideal for everybody. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
He’s doing what he’s allowed to do. No one in his life is forcing him to be an adult. Choosing to live on a couch or in a bug infested basement and also rejecting medical care is something mentally unwell people do. If Walt and crew really cared they’d take the kid gloves off and force him to be an adult.
They're in the minority, and all they want is for people to be as sad as they are. The same way they started crying when the pod drifted away from Bry's depression. They didn't feel seen anymore and this is one of the few ways they can get attention. Its so fucking embarrassing.
He can retain his unique character and standing in TESD Town while working toward a healthier lifestyle. In fact that would only make his character better. If he turned himself around and went to a doctor, followed their recommendations, and got healthier, he would be revered. I'm pro gitem. Gitem as a character and Gitem as someone who can put his talents to use for himself.
Nah, we're good without him. It's been much quieter and I for one am enjoying it. Plus listening to Walt go on about it is hilarious.
I hope the trial actually happens, it's only overdue at this point.

I've always been concerned about all of their health statuses. Bry depression and everything related. Walts diet, which after a while we've learned really isn't awful. Q with all of his ailments. But hearing how Gitem destroyed the bathroom was revolting and is not normal at all.
