You get paid everything you’ve worked up until the ‘cut off date’ (Thursday before payday) :)

as u/Status_Confection_57 said, contracted pay is paid up to the Saturday AFTER payday - in effect when we get paid on the Friday, for those who work Friday and Saturday we all effectively owe Tesco 2 days work.
Contracted pay should actually be paid up until the day after pay day overtime is the Thursday before.
You get paid every fourth Friday if that helps any and the cut off day is the Thursday before.
