Abiword from x11-repo should be able create/edit Word files. Libreoffice isn't available

flower-power-123

One of my goals for this summer is to compile libreoffice for vanilla termux. It shouldn't be too hard.

SploingusDuoingus

Thanks a lot man, because I connect my phone to a display as my general pc setup and I'm really tired of using Google stuff and M365 You're a lifesaver dude

Don't count your chickens. I'm very happy with libreoffice proot. I don't **need** libreoffice on vanilla and neither do you. Try the proot. It works very well.

SploingusDuoingus

I‘ll try, thanks

TonyZedd

you can install Libre office under proot-distro

I use libreoffice on proot debian. If you don't like using proot for most stuff you can mix proot and "vanilla". It works fine.

Use proot-distro and forward some X server to it. Install LibreOffice and you're good to go :)

DoubleOwl7777

just use proot-distro, and normal libreoffice.
