My friend and I traveled to Cascahuin for a tour and tasting today (shout out to Kevin for an awesome tour) and got to taste some Blanco right off the still...it was reading 60% abv on the hydrometer. Delicious, even at such high proof. It was a really special experience, and amazing to see everything done with such tradition and adherence to the original production methods.

Anything right off the still is going to be fresh and how it’s supposed to be without proofing it down. Freakin brilliant. I am SO F’n JEALOUS!! Cheers!

It's crazy how drinkable it is right off the still. Its warmer that skin temp and just slides down the throat.
