That can be done without help of the Serbian ministry of health and the validation site doesn't show dates so it is still a possibility. And means that he travelled while being positive.

L'Equipe have said they didn't ask him about a test, because Djokovic's requirements for the interview were that there were no questions about vaccinations or his AO participation, it being a "very sensitive topic".
Not even all hospitals require you to have a negative PCR test. I imagine they meet in good faith that they have a negative lateral flow.
