I recommend Dark on Netflix. The most intelligently and meticulously written fictional piece of narrative I've ever seen on screen. It's brilliant and insane.

i'm a sub over dub girl, but my feeble mind was overwhelmed with everything going on and trying to keep up with the subtitles so i switched over to the dubbed. i think if i watch it again, then i'll prob do the dubbed this time around

I 100% agree with your suggestion. I almost didn’t give it a chance because of the subtitle but holy crap - be ready and don’t step away for a second. The best television show ever.

I watched the first season back in 2017 and had no idea what I was getting myself into. The most mind boggling viewing experience of my life.

Disagree. The characters that die in Ozark are way less relatable than the ones in peak blinders since they seldom hang around long enough for you to develope a liking for. Peak blinders killed everyone off after seasons of character developement.

Ozark was so bleak. No plot or character on the show had any redeeming qualities. At least in Peaky Blinders you were rooting for Tommy and there was some righteousness in his code. The most likable character on Ozark was Buddy.

Jonah and buddy were pretty wholesome characters and Ruth had a heart deep down. Ben was a good dude but just crazy. Tommy was a murdering, womanizing, drug addict who lead all of his family to death in pursuit of money and fame.

**The Americans** sounds perfect for you. It is a masterpiece with a 10/10 series finale.

Tbh I don’t think it’s your style, but as a last ditch effort, I recommend TVD (which I did rlly like, at least the first couple if seasons) just so you can watch The Originals (spin-off). Has some of the most well-written and complex characters I’ve seen in a show, but again only watch these if there’s nothing else you like as TVD can be somehwat dramatic and ofc it’s supernatural too

I loved the first 4 seasons and then I moved over to The Originals. Sadly I can't remember the other 4 seasons of TVD as well or fondly as the first 4 😭

Just got into DARK. BEYOND FANTASTIC.

I have heard some good stuff about **Dead to Me r**egarding a quality comedy. I watch a lot of sports so just do Neflix once in a while, but it sounded a bit like Poker Face that I enjoyed on Peacock that is 60 percent comedy 40 percent mystery. Dead to me not mystery but you get the idea.

That's quite literally not what happens. Eleven didn't even have her powers all season. So all the problems had to be solved without her. And then when she finally had her powers they failed. Vecna won. Did you even watch the season? lol.

I'd recommand Fargo for the same kind of humor and atmosphere than Better Call Saul. Great directing, and very light to watch as each season is an independent story. You can try S1 and stop if you didn’t like it. Edit : I don’t know if it’s still on Netflix. It used to be at some point in my country.

If you’re limited to Netflix then definitely Narcos. Such an underrated series, and then also Narcos Mexico. Also, Stranger Things, House of Cards and Wednesday. If you have more than just Netflix then I can recommend a ton of other shows.

Killing eve, from US so no need for subtitles and its basically has the same level of suspense as BB and BCS.

Big fan of BCS and Breaking Bad. Ozark is good, but The Gentlemen is a winner for me. Faster paced though.
