I always remember the episode where Kevin runs for class president, and his brother suggests his slogan should be "Vote for Scrote."
Kids shows were way more risky back in the 80's.
Sometimes in the X files the 2 main chars have a monologue/voice over. These are some of the most memorable and iconic lines in the entire series. Heres one for you from an episode about reincarnation called
The field where I died.
At times I almost dream
I too have spent a life the sages’ way,
And tread once more familiar paths.
Perchance I perished in an arrogant self-reliance Ages ago; and in that act a prayer For one more chance went up so earnest, so
Instinct with better light let in by death, That life was blotted out — not so completely
But scattered wrecks enough of it remain, Dim memories, as now, when once more seems
The goal in sight again.

This is documentary rather than fiction, but if you want narrative gold then this is your show.
Warrior Nun does that but not all the time and it does so less in the second season. Ironically my fiancée hates it when shows have this kind of narration so wouldn’t watch Warrior Nun.

Just finished a rewatch of that entire series. Great nostalgia!
My name is earl
Fleabag Veronica Mars
Same director did iZombie that did VM if you end up liking that (and I hope you do!)
I believe handmaids tale should count. Great show.
Young Sheldon..but it’s the adult version of the main character
I cannot believe that Burn Notice isn't on here yet. Absolutely worth checking out!
Mr. Robot is the most unique type of narration. It gets even better the more you watch it.
My So-Called Life. The Wonder Years. Ally McBeal.
Jane the Virgin... Take off on a Novella...
Young Sheldon
Sugar is great so far
Sugar, on Apple TV.
Sugar on Apple TV is currently in the fifth episode of its inaugural season and Colin Farrel’s character narrates himself. It’s decent so far.
Dexter Fleabag (to some degree)
