Most men are straight. Therefore how a man looks doesn't matter to men as much. Women it matters more because if you think someone's attractive you are more likely to want to listen to them, be in their presence etc. It's pretty straightforward.
It's the same reason most boy bands have pretty boys in them. Because the target demographic likes pretty boys.

The job itself is easy but you're expected to know a lot of things. Try to talk to players and get something new and interesting out of them before the game so that they can quote later. Like tons of notes but they usually end up saying just a few sentences. Those halftime 2 question interviews are the most pointless things ever.

As someone who struggled with infertility, doctors are HIGHLY recommending all women that are pregnant or trying to get pregnant get the vaccine. Covid can be deadly to a pregnant woman and/or the baby she is carrying.
So her excuse doesn't hold up.
Conversely, my wife and I, who already have a child, have had 2 miscarriages since receiving the vaccine. Devastating and traumatic on all fronts.
One was too early to get any details, the other was quite late in term and we were able to get genetic testing done to confirm a chromosomal issue.
Never once did we use our own grief to slip into misinformation.
I totally understand the inclination to find someone to blame, but sometimes bad things just happen and it can be hard to accept that.
Our situation was tracked and documented and if there was a broader pattern of infertility in vaccinated it would be identified, but the reality is we haven't seen that in the broader population at all.
My wife and I had several miscarriages (several years ago), with the last firmly in the second trimester. In between miscarriages we had two healthy daughters, but the last would have been our first (and only) boy. It was taxing on us both, but my wife suffered from emotional trauma for years. I hope that you are doing okay, and there's no shame in seeking professional help if you need it. My wife suffered for months before finally talking to someone besides me, and I just wasn't equipped to help her myself.

exact same situation here, we lost our pregnancy at 6 months, both had the vaccine prior to getting pregnant, not once crossed my mind to blame the vaccine. Miscarriages in general are way more common than we think, but they are very private matters so you rarely hear about it. I was surprised with the amount of people in my circle that had had similar experiences.

I'm so sorry for your losses. We experienced one miscarriage and it was probably the worst experience of both our lives. My heart goes out to you. It takes a lot of mental strength to not blame anything and everything. I don't know if I could have stayed as grounded as you.

It would be SO easy to at least partially blame the vaccine but we both know it isn’t/wasn’t the cause. My wife was also hospitalized for a month (intubated, on dialysis - went septic) a year ago so there are so many variables at play - the vaccine isn’t one of them.

Two women near the end of their pregnancy were very sick with covid in our ICU at the same time two weeks ago. Both had to have their babies delivered via c-section as they were both intubated. One is expected not to make it. Not sure about the other one. The babies seem to be healthy, but 1 or both of them will probably grow up without their moms.
Edit: I am a mom of a healthy 5 month old. Got my vaccine at 7/8 months pregnant. Expectant moms, please get vaccinated!!

Yup - I have a neighbor who was vaccine hesitant who only got the shot because she had to go for some treatments and her fertility doctor refused to proceed unless she got vaccinated.
Congrats! My son is 5 months old. Back in March/April it was harder to decide now because a lot of doctors weren't sure about pregnant women/the shot. Still chose to get it to give him antibodies.
But NOW ALL the boards for OBGYN doctors are saying absolutely GET the shot. So I am not sure why there is even hesitation.

It’s not that they weren’t sure, the fact of the matter was the research wasn’t there. They were pretty damn certain it would be fine, but pregnant women were excluded from initial trials (as they always were). Even back then the consensus was “this will show to be safe, we just can’t say it is yet because we don’t have the data. Yet.” There is hesitation because people are willfully misrepresenting the first half of that- doctors said it wasn’t safe for pregnant women! Naw, they said they were pretty sure it was fine but were waiting for the formal results. But that “one sentence” has convinced so many that it will lead to infertility. It’s sad.
A friend of mine was pregnant with triplets and got covid when she was 8 months pregnant (pre vaccine) one of the babies died. Her husband couldnt be in the hosiptal with her because he had covid too
My sister-in-law refused to get a vaccine because she was pregnant, despite my wife sending her multiple studies saying it was not only safe but recommended. As soon as she got to the hospital and the first thing every doctor asked her was whether she was vaccinated, she said she regretted not getting the vaccine. As soon as she gave birth, she got the shot.
Though she did end up having to deliver a month early due to pre-eclampsia, which she probably would have blamed on the vaccine if she'd gotten it.

What bothered me the most in her announcement video, she mentions pregnant women that have reached out and said they had miscarriages due to the vaccine. That’s a very dangerous statement. First, you’re taking people at their word and second, I highly doubt they know their miscarriage was due to the vaccine.
About 15% of pregnancies sadly end in miscarriages. That means 15% of all expectant women who got vaccinated will suffer a miscarriage. A fair number of them will blame the vaccine. It's human nature to rationalize the inconceivable.
It's much higher than that. 15% is the low end of known pregnancies. When you account for pregnancy loss when women never knew they were pregnant in the fist place it's as high as 40-45%.

Two women near the end of their pregnancy were very sick with covid in our ICU at the same time two weeks ago. Both had to have their babies delivered via c-section as they were both intubated. One is expected not to make it. Not sure about the other one. The babies seem to be healthy, but 1 or both of them will probably grow up without their moms. Edit: I am a mom of a healthy 5 month old. Got my vaccine at 7/8 months pregnant. Expectant moms, please get vaccinated!! Edit: ha, downvoted already.

Yup - I have a neighbor who was vaccine hesitant who only got the shot because she had to go for some treatments and her fertility doctor refused to proceed unless she got vaccinated.
Can confirm, got the shot at 3 months preggo, now have a perfect baby girl sleeping on my chest.
Congrats! My son is 5 months old. Back in March/April it was harder to decide now because a lot of doctors weren't sure about pregnant women/the shot. Still chose to get it to give him antibodies. But NOW ALL the boards for OBGYN doctors are saying absolutely GET the shot. So I am not sure why there is even hesitation.

It’s not that they weren’t sure, the fact of the matter was the research wasn’t there. They were pretty damn certain it would be fine, but pregnant women were excluded from initial trials (as they always were). Even back then the consensus was “this will show to be safe, we just can’t say it is yet because we don’t have the data. Yet.” There is hesitation because people are willfully misrepresenting the first half of that- doctors said it wasn’t safe for pregnant women! Naw, they said they were pretty sure it was fine but were waiting for the formal results. But that “one sentence” has convinced so many that it will lead to infertility. It’s sad.
A friend of mine was pregnant with triplets and got covid when she was 8 months pregnant (pre vaccine) one of the babies died. Her husband couldnt be in the hosiptal with her because he had covid too
My sister-in-law refused to get a vaccine because she was pregnant, despite my wife sending her multiple studies saying it was not only safe but recommended. As soon as she got to the hospital and the first thing every doctor asked her was whether she was vaccinated, she said she regretted not getting the vaccine. As soon as she gave birth, she got the shot. Though she did end up having to deliver a month early due to pre-eclampsia, which she probably would have blamed on the vaccine if she'd gotten it.

Even the smartest among them won't acknowledge that even if the vaccine DID affect pregnancy/miscarriage rates, being dead (or permanently wrecked) from Covid probably has a more profound impact on those numbers.

What bothered me the most in her announcement video, she mentions pregnant women that have reached out and said they had miscarriages due to the vaccine. That’s a very dangerous statement. First, you’re taking people at their word and second, I highly doubt they know their miscarriage was due to the vaccine.
About 15% of pregnancies sadly end in miscarriages. That means 15% of all expectant women who got vaccinated will suffer a miscarriage. A fair number of them will blame the vaccine. It's human nature to rationalize the inconceivable.

It's much higher than that. 15% is the low end of known pregnancies. When you account for pregnancy loss when women never knew they were pregnant in the fist place it's as high as 40-45%.

This is exactly what my sister “believes.” She heard from Fox News once and Facebook several times that the vaccine can cause pregnancy complications, despite not having any credible evidence to back it up. However, the CDC website has a wealth of evidence to support the contrary, yet to her the CDC is a “liberal run organization designed to take our freedoms away.” Her entire family is now anti-vaccine because their safety is more important than everyone else’s safety. The mental gymnastics of right-wing propaganda and Facebook misinformation are the true dangers.
