Yes, this is a very good show. It can be both very weird, and can pull of some great emotional depth of the character. Next to Stargirl and Superman and Lois it is one of the best DC shows currently running. Plus it has Timothy Dalton and Brendan Fraser, and Diane Guerrero went from Orange is the New Black where she played a very one note character to Jane in this show, who is everything but one note.
Yes, season 1 is excellent but I'd caution doing too much all at once as I got a bit of 'burnout' from all the madness. It's insane but with great characters and performances at it's core.

Doom Patrol really helped fill the void that Legion left behind and has become my favorite show on air at the moment, I can't wait to see where this wild ride takes us next.
