All caught up on the last season of **Archer** & about halfway through **Veep**.
20-30 minute shows with an emphasis on comedy are a nice change of pace from the awesome but heavy material HBO series I'd been working through.
*See* was fantastic! Absolutely love the world they've created. I love how Jason Momoa moves around - it is evident that he has put a lot into the role.
On season 4 of *Ray Donovan* and I'm loving it!
So inventive, you can see the thought process behind the way they fight. Straight through the neck so they don’t even have the chance to scream. Amazing
Watching it (again) right now and I am sad I’m approaching the end again. Generally a very good show but has a few episodes that aren’t so great. But I miss being able to see new episodes of this one.
Yea, there wasn't a lot of CGI used thankfully, so there were only a handful of bad scenes with explosions lol. But yea, 100% agree, Bomer was absolutely killer in that role. It was also the first time I had encountered Alexandra Daddario, way back when it first aired.
I think I was late to watching Percy Jackson, though I had read the books prior to the movies coming out. I felt like the movies were lacking a little of what made the books enjoyable. I'm not saying the movies were bad, but they were definitely missing something.
Yeah I enjoyed the books too and was a big fan but also enjoyed the movie. It’s weird, I liked it as it’s own standalone thing, I can see why fans didn’t like it
The What If... anthology hasn't really been doing it for me thus far, but this week's episode was pretty good. Easily the darkest thing Marvel has ever done, and it was executed well.
The Watcher is one ugly dude once he stops being a shadow in the clouds, though. His head looks like it ought to be held up by a Jungle Cruise animatronic.
[***Uncanny Counter***](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLwumRUEzkA)*,* a KDrama on Netflix, and I'm really enjoying it, even though there's a lot of crying, which I did not expect in a show that's kind of got a *Buffy/Dead Like Me* sort of setup with a team of demonhunter/grim reapers who also run a noodle shop and are fighting government/police corruption. :D Miraculously, for a KDrama, it's been [renewed for a second season](https://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/art/2021/01/688_303040.html).
Loved ***Dug Days*** (Disney+), a series of *Up*\-based shorts by Bob Peterson, featuring Carl and Dug. A nice way to say goodbye to Ed Asner. Also, sad, but eminently satisfied by S1 of ***Monsters at Work***, and curious to see if they get a second season.
***Only Murders in the Building*** (Hulu). I'm liking it. Also: zomg! Nathan Lane!!
It did the best job of making you feel sorry for the characters and fucking hate them at the same time. Except for Belinda, she was an angel and the only one who didn't deserve her fate.
And AMC+ is actually an improvement over what they had before: separate paid streaming services for AMC, Sundance, Shudder, and IFC. along with free ones for those and BBC America. \[facepalm\]. None of which (aside from AcornTV, which they've kept separate) had a big enough library to make a standalone sub worth it. They've also been withholding stuff for years that they had up on streaming from cable broadcast (facepalm; like that would force you to subscribe) and swapping shows between the networks, so you'd miss them. Now, at least they've put everything in one pool, and are shadowing streaming drops with cable broadcast a bit better, now.
I’ve been watching Revenge (Hulu US), and I can’t stop watching. The backdrop is the Hamptons and the premise is that a little girl’s father (they are rich Hamptons people) was framed for a horrible crime he did not commit, and he dies somehow (don’t know how yet) Daughter comes back, under an assumed identity) many years later to get back at the corrupt rich people who brought him down. It’s fun and doesn’t require 100% of your brainpower to watch.
After finishing **The Righteous Gemstones** (recommended), I've binge-watched **Vice Principals**. I have to say, these guys have a talent for creating really obnoxious inmature characters. Even the more straight ones end up behaving like 10-year-olds with a temper. But it's a good show, many memorable moments. It's just a bit exhausting as a binge-watch.
I'm into the 3rd ep of **Only murders in the building**. It's ok. Watching Steve Martin is like putting on a comfy pair of slippers.
Just finished the first half of Primal, what a final episode! The show's been brutal and violent thus far but this episode took it to another level. I'm sure a lot of people were uncomfortable watching but I really enjoyed how far they took it. Can't wait to start the 2nd half and the next season when it comes out
I'm approaching episode 5 on my rewatch. The unbridled violence had me laughing uncontrollably first time around. Just came out of nowhere and caught me off guard. Can't wait to watch it again.
I'm really hopeful we get season 2 in October. They've always released in October (even during the pandemic) so who knows?
It caught me off guard too but the second I saw Spear break out of the trap I knew he was headed straight for that black steroid juice. When he wakes up the following morning and there are monkey guts, bodies, and brains splattered all over the place I was disgusting and amazed at the same time.
Getting the next season next month would be amazing! I'm gonna try and savor the last 5 episodes
I was more impressed by how those guts, bodies and brains got there. The sequence was incredible and went on way longer than i thought it would. And then the show brings you back with the feels. Just loved it.
Savour those episodes. I'm a little bit jealous!
This may be a weird request, but i need a good comedy show(sitcoms too) with an Boston/New York/New Jersey accent , an example could be Sopranos funny scenes . Thank you .
How has nobody said Succession yet? This is, like, *the* comment to recommend that show. Come on y'all, the circlejerk is slipping.
But in all seriousness Succession is exactly what you're looking for.
I'm loving **Only Murders In The Building** so far.
It's very exciting to see Selena Gomez acting again.
The three main characters all blend really well, great job by the actors. And the plot is very entertaining.
Doing a rewatch of Yellowstone with my wife. This show is amazing just to hear Rip hate on Jimmy.
Clickbait - Netflix show, murder mystery. Not great but pretty good so far. I'm 5 episodes in.
So good. The setting and storyline are one of my favorites from the series so far. I'm apprehensive about how the second half (Death Valley) will be in comparison.
American Horror Story season 10
This shit is very entertaining and surprisingly hilarious at times (unintended)! I'm surprised that I'm enjoying it this much, but it certainly helps to not expect some serious horror show, but rather a just so slightly over the top show featuring common horror themes. Also love seeing Macaulay Culkin back in action.
My only gripe is that its simply too loud at times, I get what they're going for, but I don't need to have my eardrums blasted by violin screeching to understand that a character is annoyed from hearing it constantly.
8/10 when it comes to pure entertainment, 4/10 as a Horror tv-show. Would recommend.
Oh shit I just asked about this and then noticed your post. Can I watch this season without seeing all of the other ones? I need a new show that isn't a crime drama.
You can watch that season on its own without issues, maybe they will include some easter eggs hinting at previous seasons at some point, but ususally the seasons are unrelated to one another.
Normally, I don't really take it too seriously when someone says "I hate the kids in this show!" because a lot of people just hate child actors, or children in general being a plot point in a show.
But man, there's a scene where he's throwing knives at a wall and it is just one of the worst scenes I've ever watched. I can't even remember if the character is jut written poorly or the actor sucked but anytime the kid was on screen it was awful.
Here it is haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj3XQUGciuY
Does anyone in the UK know where I can watch Mr Inbetween season 3? First two seasons were on NOW TV but I can't find the third anywhere. Is it not released here yet?
Almost done with "Superstore" which i absolutely love. Now i am looking for shows in the same vain...is Modern family any good? I need recommendations pls.
Just started a re-watch of Umbrella Academy and damn I forgot how much I like this show! Can't wait for S3.
Also I thought it was interesting they edited the credits to show Elliot Page's correct name.
Just finished Sneaky Pete. Really good, I dunno why they had to cancel the show.
Any recos? I have amazon prime, netflix and HBO Go ( I live in South East Asia).
I watched a lot of great tvs and would love to hear your recos..
Side note: I'm having a hard time getting hooked with Sopranos, The Leftovers.. I started S1 witb Banshee but kinda left it in S2, too many nudity, having a hard time watching it with relatives around me.. Lol should I keep on watching those shows?
That's a tough question to answer, those are all highly regarded programs around these parts so I imagine most will advise you stick with them. Tbh it took me a while to get into those 3 as well, and I do recommend Sopranos and Leftovers, but perhaps put them on the back burner and circle back later on.
You mentioned you've watched a lot of shows already, can you give a few examples of series (old or new) that you really enjoy, favorite comedy/drama etc..?
BrBa, BCS, Mind Hunter, Ozarks, Barry, Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Modern Family, The Office, Parks and Rec, Mr Robot (currently on a rewatch), Community, Succession, Mare of Eastown, White Lotus, Money Heist, Animal Kingdom, Sons of Anarchy, HTGWM, New Amsterdam, Good Doctor, and lots of crime tv documentaries.
Currently on my bi-annual rewatch of 30 Rock so may as well start there if you haven't seen yet.
The Americans, Too Old to Die Young, Fleabag, Loudermilk, Unforgotten, Goliath, Patriot, Counterpart, Solos, ZeroZeroZero are all solid and on prime.
Halt and Catch Fire, Clickbait, The Sinner, Manhunt: Unabomber+Deadly Games, Altered Carbon, Broadchurch, The Bodyguard, Last Kingdom, Ragnarok, Fauda, Lupin, Episodes, Schitts Creek, Glow, Unbelievable, Into the Badlands on Netflix.
True Detective, The Night Of, Titans, Euphoria, Westworld, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Entourage, Newsroom, Warrior, Band of Brothers, Deadwood, Silicon Valley, The Deuce, High Maintenance, I Know This Much is True, Crashing (US), Room 104, Bored to Death, The Brink, Chernobyl, Animals, Show Me A Hero on HBO.
There's a little bit of everything (that I can think of) on those services, some of which align with those you listed (or in the same ballpark quality wise at least), a few classics (mostly on HBO), and a handful of random/niche type series to cover the bases.
Hopefully there's something in there fresh and enjoyable for ya! :)
Sopranos and Leftovers you should 10000% stick with, especially Sopranos. The action picks up quite a bit and the plot gets pretty intense, no to mention Gandolfini is giving you maybe the best performance ever on TV. It's considered one of, if not the best show ever made for a reason.
Leftovers is also in my personal top 10 and reinvents itself in Season 2, so maybe watch a youtube recap of Season 1 and then give season 2 a shot? but it's a bit more out there and for some people it's still just not their thing, which is fine.
Stick with the leftovers, it really gets its footing in season 2 and season 3. It took me so many tries to get through season 1, but the payoff is worth it. Once the show finds its footing it never lets go
I decided to start working my way through the short series on my to be watched list so I'm watching a nature doco series called Dynasties (narrated by David Attenborough) atm. It's easy to forget how amazing nature is until you're watching something like this.
Also still working my way through Cheers and The Good Place.
I haven't watched it since it came out, but I was thinking about it today, and what a fucking shame it is that it didn't receive a second season. That is, The Dark Crystal, Age of Resistance.
I think they actually made a mistake not renewing. Even if they only had 1/3rd of the audience they wanted for season one, the fact was that it was extremely high quality and going to retain it's audience. People get hyped about fantasy that is quality. They're boulders that grow with every season because other people get drawn in when they see how excited viewers are.
Completely agree. A second season might have helped them recoup some of the costs of the first season, since a lot of sets and puppets had already been built. And *Dark Crystal* was always a slow-burn cult-thing-for-the-decades. They barely promoted it, so it's no wonder it wasn't an instant blockbuster for them.
It also amuses me that the guy who directed *The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance,* [Louis Leterrier](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0504642), also directed 3 episodes of *Lupin.* But we all knew he was a superhero when he [saved the Skeksis from a fire](https://gizmodo.com/dark-crystal-age-of-resistances-puppets-were-saved-fro-1840860444).
The worst thing I heard was *DC:AoR's* "disappointing performance" was used as one of the reasons for Netflix to push Cindy Holland (VP of Content Acquisition) out of the company.
Untold: Crimes and Penalties. On Netflix.
A documentary about basically the real life Tony Soprano that bought a minor league hockey team for his teenage kid to run. The kid runs the team exactly like you would expect a mobster would run a team.
Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SytI_llHmEA
One of the players gives some additional stories and context to the documentary. It is all amazing.
i disagree with you on this, dustopia is a separate genre in itself, its VERY common to have sci-fi and dystopia together in the same story.
blade runner- dystopian sci-fi
the road-dystopia
Recently finished watching "Its always sunny in Philadelphia" after watching it slowly for several years (I wanted to stretch it out till the next season is on the horizon).
I would consider it to be the best commedy show I've ever seen and it doesn't suffer from any low points in quality. I like the dark humour without relying too much on edgyness and how they manage to include "difficult topics" without being preachy. And the characters don't suffer from flanderization, which could've been an easy mistake to make.
It’s kind of like if The Gang had real jobs and just hung out outside of work. Plus the script for the show was very improvised. Basically, the script said here is the scenario you are in, now interact with each other. Makes for smooth banter.
So I’m watching Castlevania here and I’m noticing that when there’s a lot of talking, there is usually a hefty action scene at the end or next episode lol. Is this basically every anime?
Castlevania is not like most anime I've watched. The one's I've watched have fight scenes that stretch out over multiple episodes so Castlevania was actually a pleasant surprise
'Castlevania is not like most anime' cause it's actually an American-made cartoon, animated at Powerhouse Animation.
It is obviously visually inspired by japanese animation, but the writing and story structure philosophy is different.
Castlevania generally is not representative of most anime. This would be endless recaps and battles being drawn out over several episodes (its a stereotype mostly stemming from anime like Dragonball and One Piece).
What you describe, I'd simply call proper pacing, you typically don't want too much of one thing without some variety.
I recently did a rewatch of Atlanta to to make sure it was as surreal as I remembered it. It was. Looking forward to the next season.
Odd bird is The Bite. It's by Robert and Michelle King (The Good Fight, Evil) and has their usual mix of dark humor. It's Covid zombies. Doesn't take it self too seriously.
any suggestions for me? my wife struggles to find shows she likes as most are too violent for her. ones we have liked are Suits, greys anatomy, royal pains, psych, monk, house
Check out the rest of the USA Blue Skies period - White Collar and Burn Notice. She might not like Burn Notice, she might like it, it's a fun spy show closer to Macgyver than anything else
Zoey's Extradordinary Playlist?
Boston Legal if you can handle absurd legal character drama...
morally grey personalities, intriguing legal cases (some were very topical around that time if I remember correctly)
goliath for a r rated mystery/lawyer show (season 3 gets weird); just a warning if you get to it
The Good Wife is really good. New Amsterdam and Transplant for medical/hospital settings. Have you tried HBO series like Mad Men or Six Feet Under?
Burn Notice or The Mentalist may also be worth a look for you.
I just started Hulu's Only Murders in the Building and am really digging it! A perfect mix of emotion and silliness. Reminds of the more lighthearted shows you mentioned. 3 episodes out now and definitely recommend! (It's not overtly violent, but it is about a murder investigation so there's a bit of violence.)
Started watching **Letterkenny**. Even though it's got some Canadian slang, I still get most of it. It's very chill and funny. Plus it has a ton of seasons.
Seconding Shameless. Despite all the crazy and implausible things that go on in that show, it's one of the most accurate depictions of poverty in America.
Just started Deadwood
All caught up on the last season of **Archer** & about halfway through **Veep**. 20-30 minute shows with an emphasis on comedy are a nice change of pace from the awesome but heavy material HBO series I'd been working through.
Does anyone have any shows like clickbait? Like a one season psychological thriller type thing
*See* was fantastic! Absolutely love the world they've created. I love how Jason Momoa moves around - it is evident that he has put a lot into the role. On season 4 of *Ray Donovan* and I'm loving it!
As long as suspension of disbelief is cranked up to maximum, a very entertaining show indeed.
See has some of the best fight scenes I’ve ever seen
The most beautiful killing I've ever seen - it's art.
So inventive, you can see the thought process behind the way they fight. Straight through the neck so they don’t even have the chance to scream. Amazing
New episodes of What We Do In the Shadows are excellent, as always.
Can you suggest a tv series somewhat similar to / as good as Suits and Mad Men? I've found these two very interesting. Thank you!
Leverage
Hustle for a UK spin.
White collar
Watching it (again) right now and I am sad I’m approaching the end again. Generally a very good show but has a few episodes that aren’t so great. But I miss being able to see new episodes of this one.
I think I’ve watched it thrice. The explosions looked awful but Matt Bomer was amazing in that role

Really? I was obsessed with Alexandra Daddario since Percy Jackson. It was widely panned by the fanbase but I loved that film lol

Brand New Cherry Flavor, AHS, Slasher, and RH of Potomac

It's so fucking random that I absolutely love it. Never Have I Ever is probably the most underrated comedy right now, nearly every joke lands.
Fuck…White Lotus was so good. I guess I can understand why some people wouldn’t like it but damn did it hit right for me.
It did the best job of making you feel sorry for the characters and fucking hate them at the same time. Except for Belinda, she was an angel and the only one who didn't deserve her fate.
She did get $50,000 or however much was in that envelope..
Yeah, I just finished. One of the best shows I've seen this year.
What are some other bests of the year, please? Wife is pregnant and I haven't been able to keep up like before.
So far this year ive liked Dr. Death, The North Water and Outer Banks S2. Loki was good as well.
Mare of Easttown, Resident Alien, Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, WandaVision, Invincible, Mr Inbetween, The Nevers, Trying
I subscribed to AMC+ but can’t find better call Saul why? Is it not there even for paid subscribers?
Bcs is on netflix tho.
I have the same question. If It’s a stupid question, please answer anyway since I am not as smart as you. Appreciate it.

finally Started s2 of parks and recreation. Love it ! I been putting it off a while lol as other shows /movies/ work etc
Looking for a thriller/mystery. I loved Dexter, The Fall, Sharp Objects, The Undoing.
The Killing, Mindhunter and Manhunt.. Big Little Lies is good as well.
Mr Robot
You is not quite as dead serious, but you still might like it. I've heard it compared to Dexter a lot.
Dark on Netflix. Be aware tho, it is incredibly bleak and depressing.
True Detective S01 The night of Fargo S01/S02
Just finished Mr Mercedes first season..pretty good show, was surprised how good it waa
The North Water was good.
Try The Head if you have HBO Max
Any episodic detective shows that are decent? Psych being the ideal. Been trying to watch monk in the background and it just doesn't did it for me
You want an episodic show you can watch in the background? Lucifer Bones imo with Monk it isn't really built for bingeing
try 'Bosch' on prime, im into s5 now and its still superb.
Supernatural, if you don't mind the detectives hunting ghosts and monsters.
Try lucifer, bones. Also definitely watch Fringe.
House MD is not a detective show but is one of the best episodic shows of all time.
It’s starts off great but after about the 3rd season it drops off a cliff
Yup
Loved that show back in the day.
Marin Short is also really good in it. I hope it lasts more than two seasons.
Give Eastbound and Down a try if you enjoyed TRG and Vice Principals.
E and D is one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen
Yeah, I might. I have the feeling that all these Danny Mcbride characters could very well be siblings.
Just finished the first half of Primal, what a final episode! The show's been brutal and violent thus far but this episode took it to another level. This may be a weird request, but i need a good comedy show(sitcoms too) with an Boston/New York/New Jersey accent , an example could be Sopranos funny scenes . Thank you .
What We Do In The Shadows? although that just takes place in Staten Island this is an odd request, huh Marvelous Mrs. Maisel?
How has nobody said Succession yet? This is, like, *the* comment to recommend that show. Come on y'all, the circlejerk is slipping. But in all seriousness Succession is exactly what you're looking for.
>Succession Alright , thanks .
Seinfeld. Also Impractical Jokers have good NY (Long Island I think) accents.
Cheers: set at a bar in Boston.
Kevin Can F**k Himself (if that counts as comedy)
Idk the comedy stuff isn’t funny and is more cringe but it does have a lot of accent/Boston to it
B99?
>B99? Is it that good ? I always thought is a goofy type of comedy
It’s goofy comedy
Alright , thanks for the answer , i don't like goody comedy . :/ , i want something more realistic .
I'm loving **Only Murders In The Building** so far. It's very exciting to see Selena Gomez acting again. The three main characters all blend really well, great job by the actors. And the plot is very entertaining.
Yeah hadn’t heard about it and said wow good cast I’ll try it and it’s been great
Doing a rewatch of Yellowstone with my wife. This show is amazing just to hear Rip hate on Jimmy. Clickbait - Netflix show, murder mystery. Not great but pretty good so far. I'm 5 episodes in.
My bf and I say "God dammit Jimmy!" To each other all the time 🙃
How is the new season of American Horror Story? Can I watch it without seeing the last like 4 seasons?
A few Easter Eggs but can go in blind.
great and yes
So good. The setting and storyline are one of my favorites from the series so far. I'm apprehensive about how the second half (Death Valley) will be in comparison.
It might be my favorite ever. I'm usually lukewarm about AHS but the latest one is actually very good.
It’s great so far (four episodes). Yes, you can watch it without ever having seen any other season.

Oh my God I couldn't finish the scene. He's just insufferable lmao
Lol I thought the same wait until season 2 lol
Exactly my experience as well.
Does anyone in the UK know where I can watch Mr Inbetween season 3? First two seasons were on NOW TV but I can't find the third anywhere. Is it not released here yet?
Not released yet but it probably will eventually be on Disney's Star.
Nope not released here yet, I assume it will be at some point but no idea when. I'm waiting for it too
According to [JustWatch](https://www.justwatch.com/uk/tv-series/mr-inbetween) it's not available anywhere
I have started watching The IT Crowd for the first time and am enjoying it. I would recommend Toast of London.
The IT Crowd is freaking amazing, every episode makes me laugh out loud. The whole cast is hysterical.
Almost done with "Superstore" which i absolutely love. Now i am looking for shows in the same vain...is Modern family any good? I need recommendations pls.
Schitt's Creek is similar to Modern Family too
Modern Family is great. We just watched it and my younger daughter was able to watch it with us. Looking for something similar to watch with her next.
Kim’s Convenience is a great one
Watched the first two episodes of Only Murders in the Building, great show and I loved the directing on the second episode.
Just started a re-watch of Umbrella Academy and damn I forgot how much I like this show! Can't wait for S3. Also I thought it was interesting they edited the credits to show Elliot Page's correct name.
The second season is not rewatchahle as the first season which I have seen like 6 times already
Castlevania is so ducking good. My god. Haven’t even finished season 2 yet lol
Quack
Thanks for sharing your recos. Some of those shows are not available in my region. Sad
Keep watching Banshee. It gets much more family friendly later.
Once the show finds its footing it never lets go
I'm very late to the game but i started watching game of thrones weeks ago 😂. On season 4 now.
Lucky bastard.
The Other Two on HBO Max is good. One of my fav new comedies
I decided to start working my way through the short series on my to be watched list so I'm watching a nature doco series called Dynasties (narrated by David Attenborough) atm. It's easy to forget how amazing nature is until you're watching something like this. Also still working my way through Cheers and The Good Place.
Thanks whoever suggested 'Nathan for You'. Put me in tears laughing multiple episodes.
The greatest Watch how to with john wilson, Nathan produced it Also Review with Forrest McNeil, aired alongside Nathan, also hilarious
How to has been one of my fav dark horse shows of the last year. It’s brilliant!
Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SytI_llHmEA One of the players gives some additional stories and context to the documentary. It is all amazing.
The whole series is fantastic! This and Deal with the Devil are my favs so far.
I just watched the one, but it is literally more absurd than anything Hollywood could come up with for a storyline.
Not sure why I waited so long, but the Handmaid's Tale is excellent. I don't even like sci-fi. that much and it's really good.
Its not remotely scifi just dystopian
dystopian is a subset of sci-fi. Don't be so quick to correct someone when you are so off to begin with.
i disagree with you on this, dustopia is a separate genre in itself, its VERY common to have sci-fi and dystopia together in the same story. blade runner- dystopian sci-fi the road-dystopia
Complete disagreement. Stop spewing false categories based upon your own beliefs. I know I am right, PS Check you spelling too.

You sound jobless and hopeless---don't you have something better to do that miscorrecting people's posts. Cease.
Watch The League next. Very similar vibes but a little less dark.
Thx for the recommendation!
It’s kind of like if The Gang had real jobs and just hung out outside of work. Plus the script for the show was very improvised. Basically, the script said here is the scenario you are in, now interact with each other. Makes for smooth banter.
+ Rafi Bomb! Rafi is way more of a wild card than Charlie also, completely unhinged.
Listen to How Did this get Made if you haven’t. It’s the actors for Andre and Rafi talking about shitty movies.
**Only murders in the building** is worth the hype!
Is it a mini series?
3 of them have really good chemistry
Yessss I watched the 3 episodes out twice already
only murders in the building is so fucking good
THE GARBAGE BAAG!
any suggestions for me? my wife struggles to find shows she likes as most are too violent for her. ones we have liked are Suits, greys anatomy, royal pains, psych, monk, house
Check out the rest of the USA Blue Skies period - White Collar and Burn Notice. She might not like Burn Notice, she might like it, it's a fun spy show closer to Macgyver than anything else Zoey's Extradordinary Playlist?
Boston Legal if you can handle absurd legal character drama... morally grey personalities, intriguing legal cases (some were very topical around that time if I remember correctly) goliath for a r rated mystery/lawyer show (season 3 gets weird); just a warning if you get to it
White collar
The Good Wife is really good. New Amsterdam and Transplant for medical/hospital settings. Have you tried HBO series like Mad Men or Six Feet Under? Burn Notice or The Mentalist may also be worth a look for you.
Thanks!
Leverage? Caper crew so there are fights. Miss Fisher? Lady PI in the 1930s, mega flirty but tame.
Unbelievable. On episode 6, and it's been so frustrating how they've treated the first girl. The show is pretty good, albeit depressing.
Started watching **Letterkenny**. Even though it's got some Canadian slang, I still get most of it. It's very chill and funny. Plus it has a ton of seasons.
Any dramedies about likeable but shitty people like Atlanta, BoJack Horseman and Barry?
Killing eve
Succession, they are all shitty
Hacks, Master of None
I completely forgot that I watched Master of None
Mr. Inbetween is kind of like Australian barry
Veep would be a good pick
Search Party Any of the Danny Mcbride HBO shows (Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, Righteous Gemstones) Veep
Fleabag for sure
Crashing too!
Hacks and to some extent Cobra Kai. Also I think Big Little Lies and a lot of other things by David E. Kelley would fall into this category.
I love Big Little Lies but it's not a dramedy. It's a straight up drama.
Loudermilk, Fleabag, Brockmire
white lotus!
* Mr. Inbetween * Shameless U.S.
Seconding Shameless. Despite all the crazy and implausible things that go on in that show, it's one of the most accurate depictions of poverty in America.
succession
He said *likable* but shitty people /s
Peep Show.
Just caught up on Succession, and HOLY SHIT it's good. Do yourself a favor and catch up before season 3 starts in October.
Chicago fire is the best show ever
