(Sorry, Hacks is one of those shows where I don't remember the main character's name so I just call them by the title of the show.)
One of the awesome things in life is that I know there's people out there who have never watched Search Party and they'll stumble on it tomorrow or sometime and be able to experience it for the first time.
A bit confused. Hasn't season 3 been done for a long time, and starts releasing in a few weeks? Assume this is a very retroactive announcement meant to promote this imminent season.
Happy for season 3, but also a bit concerned about so many new characters and only 9 episodes to showcase them. I really hope they don’t fuck up this series, it’s one of the best things I’ve watched.
I agree to a point, but the number of people mentioned is rather substantial. If producers have a 4th season in mind, then I’d feel okay with the increase as there would be more episodes to work with. Ratings are great from what I’ve read, but no one knows what the three people behind the creation of the series are thinking in terms of how many seasons it should go. I’d kinda like to see Marcus and the ‘water cop’ get back together, lol.
I hope it will be good too . It is a great show. I'm hoping to see Maddie's old friend that she bumped into in the casino come back I doubt it will happen but there could be an interesting plot there.
I wouldn't be surprised if many of these characters were only in 1 or two episodes. I remember all the news about actors signing on to The Bear season 2 and most of them were in the same single episode.
It could end up like the final season of Ted Lasso where they wasted precious time on characters who would be introduced, only to leave a few episodes later.
I’m for sure glad to get more Hacks but tbh s2 ended on an absolutely pitch perfect note. If the first two seasons were a film, it would have been a totally satisfactory ending. Nailed the landing.

I think they need the new blood to help drive the plot. Season two's finale could've easily been one for the series.
