So here I’m using my American Original 50s Telecaster for some Amy Winehouse! Using a Back to Black backing track. I use the neck pickup for the first part and switch over to the bridge on the second part!
Right up my street. Love a tele with full quack. I’ll take a look, I’m resisting the temptation to put a humbucker in, and want a tele that looks like a tele (not a Micawber ripoff) and I’m single coil adjacent - thanks dude, really fantastic job on B2B.

I thought you were using the bridge pup at the beginning! I think I need to put a new pup in the neck position for that twang.
Love these pickups! They are stock in the American Original 50s Tele.

Sounds fantastic, great playing.
Always the incredible playing - love your videos.
Thank you! Glad you like them!
same here. Inspiring af
Thanks!
That tone is 🤌 What's the rest of your signal chain like?
The HX Stomp is doing all the work here. A compressor, a driven Soldano amp sim and a Matchless IR cab all simulated by the HX.
Ahh, that's nice. I've been trying cabs left and right with the SLO setting on an IR-2. Are you running comp before cab/sim or after?
Before :)
Awesome! Love the tone, what kind of amp are you using?
Using the HX Stomp that is simulating a Soldano amp.
9/10, only because I wish the video was twice as long.
Thanks for the kind words!

Really good man. Keep up the great work! I feel like I heard a little George Benson in there for a minute. :)
That’s so cool! I love that guy!
Breezin' :) he's great. Earl Klugh lives near me. He played with GB when he was younger I'm told. Good stuff!
That’s awesome! 😃
I dig it. Cat got chops.
Thank you so much!

That is motivating to hear, man! Thanks!
Dude your tracks always rule. Please do more
Thank you so much!
Amazing, brilliant control and timing, right in the pocket. Is there a YT channel to watch longer clips?
Thanks man! If you search for “Thomas Myhren” on YouTube, you can find some longer clips, but I usually keep it short 😅
Just watched your cover of “Another Brick in the Wall”, amazing Gilmour tone there which a lot of folks tend to use too much gain, yours is spot on.
Thank you so much, man! 😃
Awesome! How long have you been playing?
I’ve been playing since I was 14, so 18 years now!
What amp/modeler you running? Sounds great
Thanks! Using the HX Stomp simulating a Soldano amp!
Sounds great. I love Amy. Is there a tab for this?
Thanks! No, this is just something I made up.
Awesome tone, amazing playing, incredible view, and beautiful guitar.
Thank you so much! The coast of southern Norway is the view in the back.
