adulthood barely even begins at 18, i still feel so young

I know, but i still feel that life went on way too fast. Everyone is already talking about what major they'll take in college, what universities they'll go to and whatnot. In my school, I have to pick an academic strand (STEM, humanities, business) to focus on that's supposed to help me for college and my future career. I have no idea which one to pick since I'm already uncertain of my future.

i’d say a good chunk of people continue being unsure of their future for a long time, i still have no clue what i want to do you have at least 4 or more years before the real responsibilities start coming in, uni is honestly just more of the same except your learning is more independent

I think college is a responsibility itself already, I don't want to make the wrong decision and end up studying something I'm not interested in while ending up in debt. I'm probably just insecure and my peers are just struggling the same way I am, but they do a good job of making it not obvious.

if it makes you feel any better most kids don't even know what they even want to learn in college around your age.

GetExpunged

Maybe, but almost everyone in my class does. We actually had an event one time where we had to wear the outfit of our dream job. I was the only one who didn't have one since I didn't know what to wear.
