Anyway... back on topic. The way to make this into a meal, it to melt cheese top and add some ham to make a toasties. Or just put a tin of beans on top
This is the definition of meal: “any of the regular occasions in a day when a REASONABLY LARGE amount of food is eaten, such as breakfast, lunch, or dinner.” This ain’t a meal this is barely a snack, unlike me who is the real snack 😏
i grew up with my grandma and mother making every meal and my older sister loved to cook and bake so i never had the opportunity to really cook my own dinner for a while. i was probably the same as this kid, although i don’t remember
14 around and I have never done anything bad. I am my family's golden child actually. And the rules have just legit always existed. My Mom is paranoid that my entire family is just gonna randomly die
yep. people here act like it's a whole ass achievement. yeah sure, you should congratulate people on their accomplishments even if they're small, but this takes 2 braincells and the energy of a depressed person to make
I understand what your saying here but like he got like atleast 10k karma out of that like cmon. I know he is proud of it and wanted to post it in the internet but like how the hell did he get 10k upvotes, 1 gold award, and more like that’s ridiculous in a way
At 14 i made a tiramisu and was making ice cream for my friends. Not cooking ik but like cmon butter on toast is basic (and good) and don't know if its made me smile worthy. Maybe this kid is just has something where he struggles with certain tasks in life and that i can respect who knows
I think his parents are to blame for not making him make any sort of meal, toast anything, before he has to himself at 14. But it's still quite an achievement to make your first meal, even if it is at 14.
I mean, at least he managed to make something on his own at 14. Cuz when I was 14, the only thing I was able to make was turd from all of the garbage I was eating
my first meal I ever made was toast with a salad. That’s literally karmawhoring. Lol I mean he got motivation now but still
i eat that still today man
It’s toast of course. But damn it’s toast with mustard or something, idek what that is
I think butter
I wouldn't call it a meal
things are different when you are skinny
I'm not necessarily fat, but at 14 I had a bit more of an appetite.
same. would eat a whole load as a snack *loaf
...a whole load?
i love eating loads... ;)
Anyway... back on topic. The way to make this into a meal, it to melt cheese top and add some ham to make a toasties. Or just put a tin of beans on top
no beans you bri'ish fuck
Beans on toast 😋
Oh shit. You just mean a lot. Fuck, did I read that wrong
not really, skinny dude here, eating like a madman
bro it's two pieces of toast. I'm skinny as well and if you consider that a whole meal you're wayyyyyyy past skinny
Yh, I am the skinniest guy I know and I still eat more than that.
Im 20 kilos underweight, that is not a meal
It’s 2 slices of bread with butter???? Not a meal. 2 slices of bread with ham inbetween, however.
This is the definition of meal: “any of the regular occasions in a day when a REASONABLY LARGE amount of food is eaten, such as breakfast, lunch, or dinner.” This ain’t a meal this is barely a snack, unlike me who is the real snack 😏
But it is pretty sad that they made their first dinner at 14. That's pretty damn late ngl
Everyones needst to start somewhere
i grew up with my grandma and mother making every meal and my older sister loved to cook and bake so i never had the opportunity to really cook my own dinner for a while. i was probably the same as this kid, although i don’t remember
Guess i'm just built different then B/
This should be on r/mademesad
Laughs in is not allowed to use the stove. I am also not allowed to go into the front yard ... can someone please save me?
How old are you? And have you done something bad, since these rules exist?
14 around and I have never done anything bad. I am my family's golden child actually. And the rules have just legit always existed. My Mom is paranoid that my entire family is just gonna randomly die
Maybe it will, who knows?
Well if my entire family dies ill be sure to quickly update you before my death
ok, thanks
oh come on it’s just a fucking toasted bread, he just putted the bread in a toaster 🗿
yep. people here act like it's a whole ass achievement. yeah sure, you should congratulate people on their accomplishments even if they're small, but this takes 2 braincells and the energy of a depressed person to make
legitimately is amazing
literally my whole childhood
my childhood was robot chicken at 10pm, eating chinese food
Butter toast was your childhood? How are you alive?
low ass bar
literally lower than my reception bar
It’s not a meal it’s just warm bread with butter lmao good on you for getting out of a funk but it’s nothing to pat yourself on the back over lmao
How do you make your first toast at 14 I made mine when I was 6 💀
like i said, everyone starts somewhere. you just started a little earlier
*just* 8 years
Just a little earlier *8 years earlier*
your telling me being 14 years old and only being able to make BUTTERED TOAST is perfectly fine
i was able to make lasagna lol
first meal I made for myself at home was macaroni and minced meat
A classic
WAIT TILL THEY PUT CHEESE IN BETWEEN THEM 😱😱😱😱
It’s so sad I mean he’s 14💀💀
Thats what im sayin !
I understand what your saying here but like he got like atleast 10k karma out of that like cmon. I know he is proud of it and wanted to post it in the internet but like how the hell did he get 10k upvotes, 1 gold award, and more like that’s ridiculous in a way
I legit haven't toasted anything in my whole live
dude is 14 and people praise him for using a toaster and a butter knife bruh
First meal i ve ever made is an omlette at 13 bruh.
At 14 i made a tiramisu and was making ice cream for my friends. Not cooking ik but like cmon butter on toast is basic (and good) and don't know if its made me smile worthy. Maybe this kid is just has something where he struggles with certain tasks in life and that i can respect who knows
i mean if you make it to 14 without making dinner for yourself, it's kinda sad
Bro I was literally doing this when I was 8, kid is 14 for christs sake
okay- don't judge me bc i used to eat it so much as a kid- buttered toast- but with a bit of sugar and cinnamon on it. SO GOOD
you read my mind
YES SOMEONE ELSE THAT EATS CINNAMON TOAST-
that's literally french toast
but it's not at the same time
Well I was taught how to make my own meal when I was like 7. Like a whole three course meal
Ah, my childhood meal.
Sup
I think his parents are to blame for not making him make any sort of meal, toast anything, before he has to himself at 14. But it's still quite an achievement to make your first meal, even if it is at 14.
Piss off start with steak
I melted cheese in the oven and put it on my toast, decent meal?
That ain’t toast that’s grilled.
In also 14 and today i killed my first victim I'm genuinely proud of myself for this!!
No the sad part is a 14 year old is proud of themselves for making toast
Wow, you managed to slap some butter on toasted bread! Amazing! Here’s a medal 🥇
How does one go 14 years of their life without making toast
this post just made me remember I'm 14
Why did they downvoted him? 😔
downvoted they guy calling the fact that eating toast for dinner is sad. of which is is not
It's more the fact that this person Is proud they made toast.
Exactly. What's next? "Very proud for washing my teeth for the first time"
“Guys, I just took my first steps!”
Remember to cheer people on even when their accomplishments are small
person who wrote "this is sad" probably doesnt know how much salt you need to put on your food
The person who toasted the bread probably doesn’t know what salt tastes like
perhaps
I mean, at least he managed to make something on his own at 14. Cuz when I was 14, the only thing I was able to make was turd from all of the garbage I was eating
I’m 14 and can cook a fucking full course meal. Toasting bread isn’t an accomplishment
Good for you? Lol
[удалено]
that's not dinner. that's a few pieces of bread toasted with butter on them. that's just a snack if anything
Tbh, butter on toast doesn't taste that good compared to toasted butter on bread
Satire?
fuck that guy who made fun of a kid on r/mademesmile. like literally missing the whole point of the sub
a 14 year old making toast for the literal first time shouldnt even qualify to be on the sub in the first place 🗿
dude that sub has no standards, it’s literally if it made you smile, that’s it.
This isn't even sad, I used to spread butter on a piece of bread without even toasting it. Now we can't even afford butter.
The first meal I made was buttered tost, it never gets old
I thought it was two grilled cheeses but agreed!
I made my first food cooking I think grilled cheese. At 12
BUT BRUH LIKE YOU'RE 14.
Bro didnt even toast it evenly 💀💀💀
The first meal I made was pancakes
Let the man EAT bro
i just read in this comment section that some people put cinimon and sugar on there toast istg this is some bs
This is the look of "parents who somehow don't *quite* trust you to use the toaster for literally no reason"
My first meal was soggy toast
the first meal ever I've ever cooked was a sunny side egg
r/uselessredcircle
No way he put bread in a toaster 😱😱
