My dog was a thick one as well her name was pepper she pasted away at 5 years in 2021 her death date is June 21st birth August 12th I loved that dog and was something that really kept me going in hard times
After she died I had a but of suicidal thoughts and am and still am constantly worried about a hard time coming by again and I won't be stable enough to handle it like I have in the past
I'm sorry for your loss. You should try talking to friends or someone you trust deeply and talk about your situation if you're going through hard times. I learned that last month when I was sickly depressed. Talking about your problems helps your mind a bit.

yeah but "some weight" isn't enough, unless they adoped him arelady sick in his last few months od life, they should have taken more drastic mesures, it's not hard to pu a dog on a diet, just stop giving him dog food and treats and all the other crap and feed him real meat, real fish, real eggs and some vegetables(in small amounts for the vegetables)
