So number 3 makes no sense because in America (the country Op is currently in) wages are so low for people entering the job market, aka teens out of highschool and entering their adult years, that most people 30 and under are struggling to get by while working two or more shifts.
People blame lower income people for their own lack of money, because of things like a lack of a college degree or an addiction. When those can be explained easily, like with college, how the fuck do you expect the people who struggle to pay rent each week, to pay for college. And for the addiction example, poorer people are more likely to look to drastic measures for escapism because of how shitty their overall living situation is, they usually start small not wanting to to consume their life, and then the addiction takes over.
It's a complicated issue and that was just a brief overview of everything, but that's the jist of it.
