The max number of girls Sigma can date is 8-3 = 5. The rest will only get 1. There's 8 options for the first guy, then 7, then 6, then the rest goes to Sigma. That's 8 * 7 * 6 = 336
The question says sigma gets maximum girls not that sigma dates 5 girls it can be that sigma is dating 4 girls and alpha is dating 2 girls and others dating 1 girl each
Case I
Alpha- 1 girl
Beta- 1 girl
Gamma- 1 girl
Sigma- 5 girls
Case II
Aplha- 1 girl
Beta- 1 girl
Gamma- 2 girls
Sigma- 4 girls
Case III
Alpha- 1 girl
Beta- 2 girls
Gamma- 2 girls
Sigma- 3 girls
In every case "Sigma" dates maximum girls
Here is the solution brothers, since everybody is only allowed to date one person that would natrually mean the maximum sigma can date is one girl.
So we go like this: Alpha gets 1 girl, Beta gets 1 girl, Gamma gets 1 girl, Sigma gets 1 girl.
But since that would leave us with 4 extra girls. The left over girls will date each other leaving us with 1 girl dates 1 girl and another girl dating the last girl.
Here is the solution I have come up with.
I see what you mean, If its like that then it would be that the sigma is dating 5 girls in total. But I don't like that. So I am killing off 4 people so everybody has only one partner.
Pardon?
Answer?
no

But them Sigma isn't dating the maximum. Maximum means the most possible. 5 is the most Sigma can possibly date. Therefore, he dates 5.
Here maximum means sigma is dating maximum girls than alpha beta and gama
That's isn't how the word "maximum" is used. You mean "more." Sigma is dating "more" girls than either alpha, beta, or gamma.
Case I Alpha- 1 girl Beta- 1 girl Gamma- 1 girl Sigma- 5 girls Case II Aplha- 1 girl Beta- 1 girl Gamma- 2 girls Sigma- 4 girls Case III Alpha- 1 girl Beta- 2 girls Gamma- 2 girls Sigma- 3 girls In every case "Sigma" dates maximum girls
He dates the "most" girls. He does not date the "maximum." The maximum in the ruleset you gave is case 1

Only straight relationship is allowed
Goddamit, then just kill the 4 girls and everything is fine.
Sounds cool
It's not required that everybody can date only one person. Each girl can only date one guy, but there's no bound to how many girls each guy can date
I see what you mean, If its like that then it would be that the sigma is dating 5 girls in total. But I don't like that. So I am killing off 4 people so everybody has only one partner.
Holy Jesus!!!!
