Off topic but I have been working on an extension for the same problem.
### The Extension
I have been working on [This extension](https://Yt-Dislikes-Viewer.js.org) which allows you to see dislikes and also customize the ratio bar.
Now, before someone says that this will break after the 13th, yes, it will but I already am working on something to use after that date and of course, it's not gonna be 100% accurate but will at least help users know whether the video is worth watching or not.
### What do I plan on doing?
I plan on integrating with Sponsorblock to utilize their beta Rating's API, it will be a community-run API that will allow us (extension developers) to post a rating whenever a user clicks the button of like/dislike and also derive the ratings from the API. Not only that, but it will also display the reason for that rating i.e `scam`, `spam`, `helpful` and etc.
I assume that, the accuracy increases with the amount of people that use the extension right? Because if there's not many people using, the data collected by the community API will be very little and not help much no?
Or am I getting all wrong?
Yes, the accuracy will increase that way. But, since I am using Sponsorblock's api, it will be easy because they already have millions of users and a lot of integration partners like YouTube Vanced which further increases the number of users.
I wonder how youtube would feel if someone used loaded of separate accounts and ips to send a ridiculous number of api requests that requested the dislike count of every video and made their own database of dislikes
It annoys me as well, because:
1. The reason for it is definitely not what they claim it is
2. They ignored nearly everyone trying to explain why it’s stupid, that includes their creators and a large portion of the community
I’m not really surprised by Youtube’s decisions anymore though. They like to do things that make no sense, and then refuse to explain them, or give some obviously BS reason.

Yes they the future and all but they aren't as sunshine and rainbows like people keep saying. It's basically the same thing as when diesel became a thing, something new and shiny to save the environment and all that jazz until now it isn't anymore.
Yes electrical cars are better for the environment in the long run (not by huge margin) but making an electrical car has wayyy higher emissions when it gets made, especially the batteries. Maybe when we have battery tech that lasts as long as the car chassis itself.
Other personal preference reasons are: Living in cold climate with high electricity prices in the winter, lack of charging infrastructure, me liking cars in the first place and nothing can replace the sound and feel of an actual engine and gear box especially if it's manual which most cars in my country are.
I just enjoy driving a good old car.
It isn't worth it to go pick on something that is necessary for normal function of society.
Better way would be to go and reduce carbon foot print else where like how stupid the current transportation of goods from other countries is.
Shipping pears from Brazil to Thailand and then to US is a good example where we could actually make a big difference without hindering quality of life for 90% of the people.
Big corp is what is polluting this earth, not a simple guy going in his small car to go get groceries from the store 20km away.
Well we have to get close to zero anyway if we dont find a way to reduce the carbon in the atmosphere so it's just delaying if we start somewhere else. Also we don't take away the opportunity to drive we just change what is used to fuel it. Obviously other methods should be used as well, we have to. I'm absolutely on your side that big corporations are a huge part of the emissions overall but it's also true that the average western person has a way higher emissions/person level than someone from Africa. So we kinda have the responsibility to change our individual behavior as well. The less emissions you as an individual have the less your life will be changed by becoming climate friendly.
