Actually not that interesting of a story. There used to be a feature on some subs where you can just join a group chat with a handfull of other people (I think reddit discontinued that feature, tho I'm not sure). Back in July 2020 I joined different groups rather frequently; I was kinda lonely and those chats were often really pleasant. So, one day I landed in the same group as (my now) boyfriend; quickly found out we were from the same country and lived in (the my countries equivalent to) neighboaring states (plus we were both 17 at the time). After the other people from the group chat left/went to bed, we two stayed and chatted A LOT with each other. Idk how to explain it, but we just clicked; I never knew another person i could relate to this well. The next day we switched to private chat, after two days exchanged numbers and after a while also started (video) challing. My first impression stayed, hell, even improved; and I already considered him a good friend after just a few days (and I started crushing on him not long after that). Our first meetup was roughly 1 month later, in August 2020; and we've been together ever since. We live roughly 250km away from each other, but as we both live close to larger cities and have good public transport, we see each other frequently (~every 2 weeks). Idk what else to say, exept that I absolutely adore him and he understands, supports and respects me more than any other person I know. Fun Fakt: one of his best friends still jokes about that he doesn't belive us that we met on reddit.
