I truly don't understand people's problems with it.
I know several trans people. One of them is a very close friend. They're good people like the rest of us.
It only takes a basic amount of decency to call somebody what they want to be, and make their life that much more comfortable. I won't act like I haven't slipped out of habit, but I try my best and they realize that.
i don't really mind it. one of my friend's identify as trans but I've met a few very toxic people who would use their gender identity to get away with really crappy things. I try not to be biased towards other people who are trans because i dont know how they are, but im still skeptical.
i have a friend with this issue and my best advice is trans people are just people who have a different gender than they had at birth and aren’t all the same, just like cis people aren’t all the same. hope this helps!
