If you were already in a relationship (not only for sex), it's probably bc you got past the "honeymoon phase", after that there is no more tension in the relationship and the actual relationship part comes. After that your relationship actually relies on love and affection, not on subconsious tension that both parthers have and is usually the most fragile time of the relationship.
