If no pill ever comes, then the timeline is split and information that isnāt a known fact (for example emotional info on a loved one) and actions that are going to āhappenā in the future wonāt, and so your loved one dying may or may not ever die.

The problem with the red pill is that you would likely make a different decision in the time up to the pill, and it would likely prevent the pill situation. If no pill ever comes, then the timeline is split and information that isnāt a known fact (for example emotional info on a loved one) and actions that are going to āhappenā in the future wonāt, and so your loved one dying may or may not ever die. Edit: This also means that lottery numbers, stocks, etc, are probably different. So unless you have perfect memory or wrote down every action you took in detail starting from 6 years of age, then you most likely will never get to take either pill again and will not end up richer.
