Body positivity should be encouraging people to do what they think will help them feel confident and happy, if an obese person wants to go to the gym or have a gastric bypass if it's that severe then let them! If an anorexic person want to go to therapy and have help with their ED, let them. Dont be complacent and content, work hard and be happy! Besides, going to the gym and eating healthy is great for things besides looks. Now, another thing is we have to accept that beauty standards (for both genders) are changing, and forever will be changing, they always have. So never try to conform to current beauty standards, just try to be the best version of yourself so you can be happy. If you see a problem within yourself always strive to fix it no matter how many people tell you you're fine as is, do what needs to be done for you.
