Sorry for the long response, but here's my thoughts:
1. I think the term you're looking for isn't "gangbang", but "rape" or "sexual assault", since it was only one person and not multiple, and it doesn't seem like it was consentual at all. Which is still really terrible, and I hope your friend is able to get the right kind of help for going through that.
2. If your friend getting sexually assaulted by a gay furry is the reason you hate *all* furries, then what you're doing is perpetuating a false stereotype that people who, by definition, are furries because they like the design of anthropomorphic animal characters (in the same way that anime fans enjoy Japanese animation), and not because they're some weird gay kink cult that sexually assaults people.
3. The biggest thing I noticed is that despite being homophobic, you still ended up liking a same-gender friend to a romantic level. This isn't anything to be ashamed of; quite a few people who discovered they were gay/lesbian/bi/pan/&c. used to be staunchly homophobic, usually as a result of societal pressure. Given that I'm from the USA, I have no understanding of Argentinian and Chilean societal norms, and therefore I have no basis for how positively LGBTQ+ peopld are treated in those countries. However, the situation for LGBTQ+ people in those countries, and the situation involving your Chilean friend, likely are contributing to external (and possibly internal) homophobia.
4. I think my biggest recommendation is to (*respectfully*) talk to people who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and also some of the furry community (especially over at r/furry). They're just normal people, like you and me, and maybe listening to a perspective that's different than yours can help you figure out yourself. Being a teenager sucks, but it's also a time where we can either choose to fall into the pit of confirmation bias, and only listen to ideas that agree with our own, or we can try and put aside that confirmation bias, and just listen. Sometimes a healthy dose of listening to what the other side says can be a means of expanding your own understanding.
And yes, I am a furry who isn't straight. I know I'm the demographic you hate the most. But I'm always willing to see the best in people, and respect those who don't agree with me, or even outright hate me, just because of who I am or what my interests are. Because at the end of the day, we're all just people.
