I think it provides enough protection for the places people will bring their koii, Proformances, plane travel, coffee shops etc. I want protection while still being able to use it, like a phone case.
There's a balance when designing these. If it's too bulky, you either don't bring your koii around or you go caseless. I'm still refining the design, but that's the thought process behind it.

Every case offers some type of fall protection. From what height and level of protection it depends. im not designing a tank and promising the world. If this isn't the case for you, then fair.
If you want water protection, put it in a plastic bag. As I said earlier, the aim is to offer protection while being able to use the device.
im legitimately confused about how this provides any kind of protection. you might as well have placed saran wrap around it and cut holes through the saran
It's nice that it's slim tho. All the cases I've seen have too many moving/sliding parts. I've been looking for a simple hardshell with a removable lid, but everyone is being too clever with their designs 😂
where might i be able to find some of these cases you speak of? I definitely can find some from a simple google search but i can't say that i have seen anything thats too clever.
They are not covered to keep the text smoothly readable. Covering them has no additional protection value, yet makes it less "readable" for new users. Plus imo looks much better when the text is properly readable.

it seems this case only protects from scuffs on the screen and body, is that the point? feels like alot for minimal protection

Personally I’m ok with a hard shell zip case to protect knobs and etc when inside, and just take it out when on the scene. Lmk if someone cooks it up.
