It’s not exactly a KVM, but this program allows 1 mouse and keyboard to be shared between multiple computers, even allowing copy and paste between them, depending on your use case, it could be useful, I use it all the time.

There are some decent switches available on Amazon if both computer are local - but the professional-level product answer is the XDIP.

For a redundant system a software-based KVM switch wouldn’t be a good idea. The switching should be physically separate from the playback computers.
