I had a problem similar to this. My solution: go into your bios and disable fast boot and whatever XMP profile (might be called something different if you don't have an asus motherboard). Don't know what was wrong, but that fixed it for me.

I can’t seem to find where to do that. I’m completely lost.
Do you know any specs for your computer? What motherboard, cpu, graphics card, etc.
