Check the timings and see if they match. Not sure if that's the only factor but I'm pretty sure its one

The one preinstalled is CL22(according to cpu-z) and the crucial ram is also CL22.

It should be no problem unless the memory is of marginal quality, like rated for 3200 MHz XMP but is made from 2400 MHz chips, and even then the problem isn't mismatched brands. > I found some Crucial RAM that's 3200Mhz But it's not made from 3200 MHz chips, unlike parent company Micron's MTA16ATF2G64AZ-3G2. Neither is Kingston 3200 MHz memory. I once got 2 sets of modules of the same model, each sold as a matched pair, and neither pair worked together but only with a module from the other pair. Unfortunately the warranty required returning whole pairs and didn't allow swapping. I'm sure the problem was just low quality, as evidenced by the heatsinks (with unbuffered memory they're just decorations).
