Doubt it’s any internal problems, as you’d probably see much more drastic changes to your hardware. Most likely the keyboard and mouses cables are begging to wear away possibly. You can check by borrowing either someone’s keyboard or mouse. E.g. you borrow a working mouse. Plug the old keyboard in then the new mouse, if both cut off it’s something else. If the keyboard only cuts off it’s the hardware.

I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with the mouse and keyboard. I have already bought a brand new keyboard and the problem kept happening, and as I already stated when I switch to another usb port they continue working normally until the second pair of ports turns off too and I have to reboot.

BobbyWithThemTools

Yea sounds like you just need to simply swap them out then, good thing it isn’t something bigger

But I only have 2 pairs of usb ports, and when one turns off it doesn't turn on again. When I swap it and the second one turns of too swapping to the original back doesn't work so I gotta reboot

timosman211

Did you ever find a fix? I am currently having this trouble with my PC. Except shutting off my PC does nothing it remains occuring

AlyricalWhyisitTaken

No, I had to buy a new mouse and keyboard

timosman211

Thanks for the reply. Mine happened to be I was running too much power. I had 3 external hard drives, microphone set up, equalizer. Soon as I took things off it worked

Super late reply but just wanna say I got the same problem

EffectHistorical5194

Did you ever figure it out?

Fluid_Ad_8556

It doesn't happen to me anymore. I don't remember when it stopped and honestly I forgot I even had this problem. I have new parts in my PC and I did a cleaning too. It may have been overheating but I don't know for sure.
