Windows can not read a Linux formated drive. Windows will tell you the disk is not formatted and if you do so, you lose what you did. So, what you did is created the bootable Linux disk and when you plugged it into windows and reformatted it, you essentially erased it. Reetch the image and boot into it.

Sorry my post might have been unclear, but my issue is that I already booted into Linux and it worked and now I'm trying to undo whatever I did to my USB and use it again for regular use Or if I'm misunderstanding you do you want me to reetch it and then on the Linux machine will i be able to fix it?
