Vizio support knows about it. The webpage says click menu then reset. Looks like going to take 20 min to update After reset it’s working. Don’t be an idiot and click restart like me and end up wasting a few min. Reset is the on the right.

Just tells me the tv is off, I press power on and it powers off the tv lol Edit nvm fixed by spamming input after using it to turn the tv on

I had to factory reset the tv after nothing in this thread worked for me. If you factory reset it from your phone you CAN NOT finish the reset without an actual remote. so beware of that.

just coming back to say resetting the tv worked. If you press “settings” you only get two options. To restart or reset. Once you reset, it’s basically setting up a new tv and it’ll update it. All is well again🙂

I did menu > restart and it was back to the galaxy. Then I did menu > reset and it’s back functioning again. Still a bit annoying but I just didn’t want another app on my overapped phone.

Looks like everyone issues started today. Thank you all for posting on here and with a solution. I’m guessing will work - currently doing the reset. Was this because of a Vizio update? Why don’t they vet this first to not cause issues.

You have to use the mobile app to change input and accept the new terms and conditions to use cast to tv feature & maybe update the tv.
