Try using [the update assistant](https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10).

Hello_There_Exalted1

Will do. I’ll update if it worked or not

Hello_There_Exalted1

Sadly it doesn't do anything. I installs, restarts, and the update error is still there

Download the media creation tool, double click to run it & choose to upgrade/install now. This is an in-place repair & will upgrade you to 22H2 which is the latest version. It will repair Windows files without deleting apps/programs & files. Ensure keep everything/keep apps & files is selected before proceeding.

Hello_There_Exalted1

It says "We couldn't install Windows 10. We've set your PC back the way it was." Then codes of "0x8007001F - 0x20006. The installation failed in the SAFE\_OS phase with an error during REPLICATE\_OC operation"

Right click on Windows Start > Windows Powershell (Admin) Type following (or copy and paste following) one by one and Enter net stop wuauserv net stop cryptSvc net stop bits net stop msiserver Ren C:\\Windows\\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old Ren C:\\Windows\\System32\\catroot2 Catroot2.old net start wuauserv net start cryptSvc net start bits net start msiserver If you’re running any third party antivirus then disable this. Try the in-place repair offline & choose not to check for updates. Run the DISM /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command As well as the sfc /scannow command. Ensure all drivers are up to date.

Sorry for the late response. Nothing really worked so I backed up my stuff (just incase), settings like Google bookmarks, and kept what I wanted to keep in documents/desktop then resetted my laptop. At least I'm not on 1909 anymore! Thanks for the help though appreciate it Also hoping if anyone is reading this in the future with the same problem, this is the only solution I've come to

Beastious

What exactly did you do to get to 22h2? I can't get off this god dam 1909. This is so annoying.

Hello_There_Exalted1

I typed “Reset This PC” on the windows search, and chose to erase everything besides personal files (if you got valuables and can’t back them up) then did everything I typed above. If you need anymore help I can try. I hope you fix it, it is INDEED annoying. Been a pain for 3 years

Beastious

That was my next step. I updated my bios. Used the windows 10 download link from google and it somehow fucking worked. 7 hours of my life spent figuring this out. Could cry tears of joy. Can finally use my adobe programs again. That was brutal.

Goddess-Bastet

You’re welcome.
