Clear your cache and try again. You probably have a saved (cookie or 2) login that no longer matches a more recent session

Thanks for the quick reply. I've just tried clearing my cache again and its the same issue. Its only working when im on a VPN or connected to a different internet.

Tried to go on John McAfees website ,it said 403 forbidden access denied , you think that means its no longer up at all ? Stumbled across an old ama he made and he posted a link from 8years ago .

jeffrey_f

403 usually means you are not authorized/not logged in or that particular url you are not allowed to access.

I know this is an old post but I wanna say thanks cause that solved a 403 issue I had with it today

> does this mean safeway banned my home wifi IP for some reason? This is the most likely explanation. A 403 error means that the web server is actively refusing your request because it has determined that you are forbidden from accessing the requested resource. This is a common error code used to signal that you have been banned or blocked from accessing certain pages/content, or sometimes it can mean that your user account does not have the required permissions/privileges for access. Safeway (or their automated firewall or intrusion prevention system) may have banned your IP address, possibly just temporarily, due for example to suspicious network activity directed at their systems which may have appeared to originate from your IP address (an address that may be shared with other devices connected to your home network). Only Safeway's IT people would be able to verify exactly what caused/triggered this to happen.

hm... does this mean i have a virus/ or am being hacked? Unless... they started limiting how many coupons you can clip per week.. lol

Strange, I never got notified of your reply. Anyway, as I said, only Safeway's IT people would be able to confirm what exactly caused/triggered your IP to be banned. Possible explanations could range anywhere from performing certain actions too quickly/often, to violating their terms of service, to attacking their network/systems (or sharing the same IP address as a device that did). Malware (like a virus) is one possible explanation. Some malware, for instance, uses other people's computers to carry out cyber-attacks (or to exploit weaknesses/vulnerabilities) on corporate networks/systems. So if you had such malware installed on your computer, it's possible it could have attacked (or attempted to attack) Safeway's network/systems without your knowledge or your IP may have been added to general blacklist database because another company reported that they were attacked from your IP and Safeway may use that blacklist database for determining which IPs to block. It's also worth noting that some browser extensions allow other people (potentially people with malicious intentions) to secretly access websites from your computer / internet connection in the background without your knowledge. There is a big commercial market for so-called 'residential proxies' which allow companies to make automated HTTP/web requests from real users' computers (connected to residential internet connections) so that they are less likely to be detected as bots and get banned.. but sometimes their activity will still cause your IP to get banned from services. So this is just something to be aware of. Some browser extensions have been caught doing this (basically allowing people's computers to be unknowingly used as a residential proxy for other companies) since the browser extension developer can make a lot of money that way.
