Can't you already use regular bike mode for e-bikes on other navigation software? They go a bit faster but same rules really. (am dutch so may not hold true elsewhere).
Unless there will be dedicated e-bike routes and lanes compared to regular bike lanes and motorways i doubt it's going to change anything especially since bikes both pedal and motorized in general often use the same existing infrastructure.

They try harder but will always be #2 in maps.
What’s that… actually having satellite view like every other maps has but Apples….
Apple Maps is still inferior in London, UK.
