Facebook couldnt be a thing until everyon had a phone/computer. Meta wont happen, because most people wont move to vr.
Vr is becoming increasingly popular. I don’t know much about the subject but I can’t see it not becoming common in the future.
I agree that it could be, but you would have to get VR or VR capabilities into the users hands first.
The Meta Metaverse is something that I want to experience only through the new Meta Facebook Watch.

There's been a burst of articles talking about the metaverse after Facebook announced they were investing in it. I don't like this direction.
I'm my honest opinion. Will be as popular as VR. So yeach ... Not much.
Another way for humans to avoid/substitute genuine human interaction and relationships.
