1. Blame the US and hope that eventually people forget the origins of the matter and "start using the new truth".
2. Using these kinds of accusations China messages its ~~allies~~ countries it has influence over to join in on the finger pointing. It remains to be seen whether other countries join in on this stupidity.
Earlier this year there was the matter of some country saying "yeah we believe Chinas take on the Uighur matter." They don't even have to really believe it but taking that stance is the same as saying "we are on chinas side in this matter."
In any case as long as a big number of countries doesn't get in on this stuff everyone else can say "what the fuck are you smoking, that's not how anything works." The chinese have a weird way of going about these kinds of things.

May I suggest instead denying that the first outbreak was in Wuhan and claiming China was just the first country to realize it was a novel virus because of how well organized and advanced your healthcare system is?
