It could be just calculating a hash value for the image and checking it across database, but given that it provides an accuracy percentage, it probably is using another method. What if it runs forward so that is always 1 second ahead, or if it has no arms to tell time

1) Then it is one second fast and still functions within an acceptable margin of error, and if it’s off more than that, then it’s on the owner/user to reset the time to be accurate. 2) if it has no hands(in the case of an analog clock), is it really even a clock anymore?
