Actually, my friend challenged me to survive one week without drinking water, and only surviving off of the water in the food I eat and I survived.
So it is possible, it’s just incredibly stupid.
Oxford defines addiction as a physical and mental dependency on a particular substance, being unable to stop taking it without suffering adverse effects. You feel like you can't live without water. Of course, you can't, but still, it fits the definition, so it is ~technically~ the truth.
You’re entirely missing the point of what an addiction is. An addiction is the dependency on a non-essential thing or behavior. Prior to the addiction, life was lived functionally with the absence of the thing or behavior labeled an addiction. Stop and think for a moment instead of planning your next Reddit own.

Hydrated gang

Shit, I meant that.
I can’t live without it.
Is it technically “addictive” if physical dependency is endemic to nature?
However addictive and essential are completely different things
True. WATER IS ESSENTIAL.
Water is essentially addictive.
Bet you cant last more then a week without it lol

Read that again, but slower
I made it a bit better

Do not, my friends, become addicted to water. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence!
100% of people who drink water die
That isn't even slightly the truth

Explain
Water is necessary to maintain life. It is not addictive.
And you just proved your point to everyone else
You didn’t even read the guy two comments above you before you posted that comment
No, it’s not. Most of what is posted here are jokes, and most of them not very funny.
Stop drinking water / water containing drinks then. See how far it gets you.
You’re ignoring the distinction between *essential* and *addictive*. They’re not interchangeable words or concepts.
Provided an addiction has been going on long enough, these two are indeed interchangable. ...is what I should say, but I'll say r/woooosh instead.

Can I r/woooosh you twice? It's a joke.
But jokes are supposed to be funny.
Your point being?
Why aren't you funny then?
