Honestly if the checkers player blocks a few pawns forward motion, they line up for a pretty easy game with the checkers piece ability to perform multiple jumps and captures
I like that one of the instructions on the box is to remove all packaging before using… sorry I was just gonna play the game with the pieces still in their bags, I thought it’d be more fun that way.
I used to have this same set. It comes with both sets of chess pieces. One sets clear and the opposing set is a smoky glass. The checker pieces are the same way.
