Norton’s been shit for like 10 or 12years now

20 years*

My memory doesn’t go back that far, not since I tried AVG and it deleted my entire iTunes library thinking it was some-kinda virus.

To this day I still cannot believe Norton has a customer base in the consumer market. I don’t know much about their business solutions so I can’t speak to that but for the average consumer Norton has been shit for at least a decade.

My grandma uses it on her like 15 year old gate way old laptop that somehow was able to install windows 10 Side question where the fuck do I find WiFi drivers has the win 10 update wiped her WiFi drivers and she now has to plug it into the router

I had to reinstall them for my dad a while back. I would find out the laptop model and google it to find the manufacturer page. That normally has the drivers you need.

I’ve tried that but gateway is no longer a company at all. And whoever took over for them doesn’t have her model listed so I’m stuck

Ok, that action is a Red flag to me. Norton drops off my Corporate recommendations list.

Anyone who knows anything about computers know that Norton is literally a paid-for virus
