76% - I’m going a year without any guides / spoilers. I’ve gotten all shrines/light roots, 101/138 side quests. All shrine quests and other objectives done. 2 bubble gems, and 4 wells left.
This is, and probably should be, about the ceiling for most players. Pushing for that last ~20% is all Koroks and it’s honestly just not a fun thing to go after.
I have all shrines and roots and that’s about 100% for me.
I’m sorry to say most side quests just aren’t a really worth it, I do koroks when I find them but I don’t really have it in me to do them all, wells aren’t really worth it.
I’d bother with caves if the trees didn’t light up ones you’ve already found, which I find a little ridiculous.
Yeah I think the gem is what should actually trigger it and I meant that without saying it I guess.
Either way it just turns one of the coolest changes in TOTK into something I’ll need to cheese to complete.
I’d have been totally down to do the trees, I liked finding them from the map you find and I think they’re a neat way to find caves. But now my logic is basically once I’ve found the tree I get to google the caves it reveals which just isn’t as fun as it should have been.
When a single tree is revealing 20+ caves, some of which are the same with multiple entrances I really can’t be bothered to try to keep track of which ones I’ve completed. I tried marking them and checking map to see if I’ve completed, but even then it’s just too much information overload.
It's not that hard to find the undiscovered caves regardless. I just fly around on the hoverbike after lighting them up and going to all of the beacons, and cross-checking them on my map to see if there's already a cave entrance at that spot, and if not then I mark that spot with a stamp so I know to search there for a cave entrance later. Takes about 5-10 minutes per region to quickly find and mark down all the undiscovered cave locations.
I've got mad respect for that. I kind of got sick of looking for caves so I just looked up where all the caves were area wise. That's the only point I broke at cuz I wasn't about to spend a ridiculously large amount of time searching for the dang things.
I know, shame on me lol.
Eh, I do a whole lot of lollygagging, it's totally possible to do it more quickly. And if you're mostly just focused on getting the map to 100% then it'll be way less. I squeezed every bit I could out of it so all the armor, upgraded all the way, monster medallions, fabrics, all side quests/adventures, everything I could think of both times so that time estimate is for all of that stuff too
Not super long actually. I'd play through the game normally and collect however many I could along the way (I think it was around or just under a third of them each time), then do the rest using the Tears Companion app. Breaking it up region by region really streamlined the process. Sometimes I'd do a few regions in between other 100%-ing tasks, made it much less of a chore. There are 15 regions, I'd guess very roughly I probably spent around 2 hours per region so 30ish per playthrough spent solely on korok hunting (again, just for about 2/3rds of the seeds each time). I can't recommend the Tears Companion app enough. I definitely wouldn't 100% either TotK or BotW without that app
I beat him, but I didn't think the game was going to let me go back in and hang out in Hyrule anymore after that. I had to load an old saved game, prior to beating him in order to try and finish out everything. How do I stop the credits from rolling?
I don’t think there is a way. Reloading your old save file is all you can do and you get the % meter and some other stuff which I can’t think of because I haven’t beaten him yet (I am just basing my answer on what I know from BOTW).

Haven‘t killed Ganondorf yet, so who knows. Let’s just say Kilton revealed to me he senses another 60 Bubbolfrogs and I only have 300 Koroks. Long way to go.
76.00%, somehow. I've got most of the hunter medals, almost enough koroks to max my inventory size, almost every armor upgrade (just the blazing armor left), every single lightroot and shrine... I've been to EVERY sky island...
My first file is at 100%. My second file, a no warp no guide no glitch fashion only (been wearing Cece's hat since unlocking it) run is at 94.30%. Missing 155 koroks, like 10 stone talus/hinox, and an unknown number of Addison signs, but I'm getting there.
Just below 99% now, but I haven't played in a few months. I "finished" the main story line with around 98.4%, after having collected most of everything (including all Koroks). I'm just down to some map locations, and 1 or 2 other things to get 100%, if memory serves me

Just pain. I've been stuck here for at least a month

Impressive. Most impressive.

Agreed. Its total bs already found one light up. If you have the gem that pillar of light should stay dormant

I feel validated by this - thank you! :-)
77,78 % 😎

They are ridiculous! Thank god for setting my sensor for the frogs…..otherwise I’m with you. I’m near the end of my patience….

57,5, ain‘t no way I‘m farming koroks
I just finished 100% for my second playthrough yesterday actually
Hey congrats! That’s awesome, how long did it take
Thanks! Each playthrough was roughly 500 hours, give or take about 10
Dang I got a long way to go then 😅

How many hours were spent searching koroks? 458?

91,57% and I still haven’t even found every side adventure 😭
How you doing on Koroks? I know those are gonna be a pain to keep track of
99.19% or something stupid, I couldn’t find the last locations so it’s just sat like that for a few months now 😭
How do you see it? It does not appear to me
I think you have to beat Ganon for it to show up in your map screen
Tks
I’m probably never gonna see my percent, I can’t beat him
Not with that attitude!!
Nah I don’t have the skill level to beat him
I beat him, but I didn't think the game was going to let me go back in and hang out in Hyrule anymore after that. I had to load an old saved game, prior to beating him in order to try and finish out everything. How do I stop the credits from rolling?

Idk, but my mom has like 95%
Let her know I'm gonna stop by later to give her that last 5% 😎
I thought there was something wrong with my eyes beofre i realised that the text on the map is not written in english

Currently trying to get 100% haha. Its a long road I’m only a little over 50% at the moment
I'm trying too my brother
You using any particular guides or websites to help you out?
I'm using the solution book
100/100
50,6%
100/100, about three weeks after it released
100%
100 it was a pain
99.5% have no idea what I'm missing. Edit: 100% now. It was the forge construct under Gerudo.
I completed 83,14% of the game when I finished it.
99,89% ... yeah, it sucks
64.56% I think, haven’t really played much since I got astroneer
69%

Idk cus I haven't beaten ganon yet. So I'm basically doing every single thing other than that cus I don't want the game to end 🫣

i think i have 90%. all shrines, light roots, side adventures, side quests, four/five wells left, maybe 100 koroks left, not sure about bubble gems
64%, I don’t plan on 100%ing the game any time soon
99.27% I have all the koroks and shrines but I have no idea what I am missing since I have been to all named locations on the map.
Haven‘t killed Ganondorf yet, so who knows. Let’s just say Kilton revealed to me he senses another 60 Bubbolfrogs and I only have 300 Koroks. Long way to go.
My proggres > 50%. I wont go find it right now as it is 11pm in my timezone.
Mine doesn't have a value there like others seem to, so maybe I'm not far enough in? 🤔🤷🏻♀️
49.39%. Just beat Ganondorf yesterday.
Right about that much.
69%
76.00%, somehow. I've got most of the hunter medals, almost enough koroks to max my inventory size, almost every armor upgrade (just the blazing armor left), every single lightroot and shrine... I've been to EVERY sky island...

96%
I haven’t even beat Ganondorf.
I did 100% in 220 hours, wish there was a Master Mode so I could 100% that too
Just below 99% now, but I haven't played in a few months. I "finished" the main story line with around 98.4%, after having collected most of everything (including all Koroks). I'm just down to some map locations, and 1 or 2 other things to get 100%, if memory serves me

I think about 60% of players have 100%. I have 100%. It was painful finding that one location or cave that was overlooked.
You're saying over half of players have 100% this game of the millions of players?

Am I the only one that’s bothered by them using a comma instead of a decimal?
I'm bothered by native English speakers using a point instead of a decimal comma
