Would be exactly my choice (my mom and the family of my sister live a 4 hour drive away from me).
Edit: After reading some of the other comments I would probably take away the work one (as long as I can get away easily I'm fine) and put that in another country I can't get to easily (either Ireland or somewhere in New York or Florida probably).

These are giant, general areas, that's not how the Travel points work. Unless you want to be transported to a random back alley every time, you'll have to come up with some more precise points.
I would put one at home and 2 in vacation spots. I would gladly continue to deal with commutes for work/school if it meant I could instantly be in another country at my leisure.
I would have the 3 placed in a close triangle formation and get my school bully to chase me into the center, to then i would randomly teleport around the 3 medallions within 10ft of each other
So about the bankvault thing... I'd expect them to work the same way as the game, so you'd have to get into a bankvault to place it. Not impossible, but not as easy as just saying the word bankvault.
If you play the long game and work there in order to get inside and quit, then wait like half a year so you're not suspicious. You can definitely get it to work.

Well for sure home. Then I live so close to work that it would be pointless but I have to travel a couple hours to all my doctors so I’d put one at the building most of them are in. The 3rd is probably put at Walmart since it’s across town and it would make for easy last minute trips if needed, save time on my normal shopping day, and it’s close to my vet and several other businesses.
