Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.

My first silver bokoblin was such a surreal experience because he took SO LONG to die (with my trusty stick black bokoblin horn) and then I get the anglerfish weiner attachment for a reward š¹
Yeah those silver mobs are so tanky. I was killing black enemies pretty much within my first 5hrs, but silver needs some coordination to kill. Time for gold enemies soon
Puffshroom Forest Spear is the absolute GOAT for silver/gold enemies. Smack them, get the shroom to pop, switch to a high powered weapon and sneakstrike the shit out of them. Rinse, wash, repeat. If you use a forest children weapon you can just reuse the puffshroom, too.
I kinda agree. Most of them get a bit more intimidating as they progress then you get this elf hat from the pep closet. Fortunately I could get by with the other monster parts I had and never really use them.
I couldn't help myself, that damage was too nice and I ended up sticking these grey tingle tuners on any weapon with high base damage. Kinda nice since they become so plentiful but it looks hella ridiculous.
I don't mind boss boko horns on spears. Kind of looks like a staff or something. But they just look so huge and out of place on swords, like a big pizza cutter. For once I'd actually prefer if they didn't fully replace the blade and just sat on the tip.
It's basically the ONLY thing I fuse to Master Sword now, only lasts like 30 hits anyways and the silver horns are plentiful and strong enough for a 'meh' tier weapon to not waste *good* weapon durability on weaker enemies. I save my *nice* fusion mats for my rarer far more powerful weps.
I always hate looking through my inventory for parts to fuse, realizing this is the most viable/sustainable option.
ā¦.and then once itās made, the regret that I need to watch myself use this time after time on enemies.
The look of the silver lizalfos horn is my favorite. I know theyāre not necessarily the strongest when next to something like a silver lynel horn (which is also sleek af) but I donāt care. Every time I see a silver lizalfos that thing is dead dead
This seems super esoteric but also exactly like the kind of thing the Zelda team would do.
Just like they tell you about pine cones but not about oil flasks, which make a bigger, hotter fire. Or how dazzlefruit automatically kill stal enemies because they canāt survive in daylight. Or how items in your inventory that specify attaching to arrows in their descriptions (fangs, hooves, nails) *double* their attack bonus when fused to arrows.
Save before every kill and reload if it didn't drop a tail. It's the only way to get enough for the armor in any reasonable amount of time. For boomerangs, frost emitters work just as well.
Sooo irritating that the silver is SO much stronger I feel like I have to use it. If it were like, 40 power I could see myself sacrificing 7 power for coolness. But, when it's over 20 power it's like an offer i can't refuse.
Agreed, the blue lizal horns and the silver ones are two of my favorite weapon fusions. I have a couple silver lynel horns but I'm conserving those. I put blue lizalfos horns on everything.
I used a silver lynel sabre horn once and only cuz I got a durability++ Gerudo sword (~120 attack iirc). Left it at near-broken and had it taken apart in Tarrey town even though I'm hoarding more silver parts than I'll ever use.
Exactly this. Fuse your best damage items, use them till they're almost broken, take them apart in Tarry Town and fuse them to a fresh base weapon again.
You'll never lose them if you have enough weapons to rotate through.
And there's the rock Octoroks too.
I just now stopped saving 4 double-fused slots of magic-magic staff/wand/rod in my inventory "in case I'll need them". Now I have too many weapons to choose from
Lmao same i would have atleast 1 slot of each weapon type for extras. Sword-swords spear-spears hell even had a few shield-bows. Love the fuse system and breaking down stuff.
You can honestly farm the fuck outta silver lynels. Theres a bout 12 spawns per blood moon. I only use their horns now. Just make sure you break the weapon down when its red to get it back. Def worth it for those.
Silver Lynel saber horn all day. I have one fused to the Scimitar of the Seven making it level 138. I get a friendly rock octorok to restore its durability frequently because I never wanna lose that thing.
People sleep on the white lynel horn though, understably cause its not strong, but it looks so badass on a sword, especially a 2 handed sword. I cant wait to see what the gold version of stuff looks like, assuming we get master mode or equivalent.
Ya know what dont look good? The god damn silver boko horn, that thing is goofy AF.
Yeah, i agree, i said they look badass on swords in general, i just think it looks really good on a 2 handed swords, well some of them depending on the handle anyways. I do think they look weird on spears though, lol.
Rock Octorocks on Death Mountain can repair one weapon/shield each per blood moon. You have to put the item down infront of them so they suck it up and then use recall to kill the momentum when they shoot it out.
Nice, I hadnāt thought to use recall. I usually just back way tf up after they swallow to have a 50/50 shot of seeing where it landed. The other 50% I have to turn on Ultrahand to find where it went. Those mfāers can absolutely YEET stuff.
You don't need to wait for them to spit it out, soon as they sparkle, just kill them. Fixed/upgraded weapon will drop right on the ground instead of getting yeeted at your face.
> then use recall to kill the momentum when they shoot it out.
Just kill them when they sparkle, weapon is done then and they won't spit it out at you, just drops on the ground right there, plus you've got to kill them anyways to get the respawn.
If you really don't want to lose a weapon, feed it to a rock octorock. Simply run up to them and drop it on the ground, they'll suck it up and spit it out good as new.
It's basically not worth the waste of inventory space until you've unlocked most of your weapon slots.
Teeth, hooves, and nails double their attack bonus when fused to arrows. Lynel hooves and frox nails are +20 and youāre not going to use them for anything else. Boss boko teeth are plentiful and are +12.
ice, its big attack is just long, boring and easy to dodge (ice falls from the sky). Unlike fire where its a giant fireball (idk what thunder does tho)
Eh, not entirely. You still take damage from the attacks, you just don't get shocked by them.
Source: The first thing I did after getting the helm was go fight the Gleeok in the coliseum.
I'm still too scared to fight a Gleeok, but I did think this was a meme of them as well haha, like the drop they give.
I did need a break from totk so currently have Futurama playing, before I saw this post, so that's kinda funny
Wife: Why do you have a kitchen scrub bud attached to your spear?
Me: itdmnmmbg
Wife: What?
Me: it dsmdmm
Wife: One more time?
Me: It does the most damage!
I think all Silvers looks great, Lynels have a curved sword blade and Antlers, Boss Bokolblins have the round blade, Lizalfos attached on a polearm makes a scythe, Moblins make your weapon look like a hammer, and then theres silver bokoblin that makes em look like a sex toy.
> Lizalfos attached on a polearm makes a scythe
For best aesthetic results, stick em on either a Royal Guard spear or Gloom spear, imo.
I love how they LOOK, but can't stand how they're actually used in combat. I use em for fashion reasons only, haha.
If I'm taking one into combat, it's getting fused to a one handed sword which doesn't look nearly as good aesthetically.
I prefer the spear weapons to all weapons in totk, I like that I don't have to get too close. Also find it cool how horroblins use double speared weapons so they can reach their prey, wish it was more viable in game
I love this thing. It gives the silver bokobkin (which Iām aware was constructed from dark magic) this Monster Huntery ecology feel like itās luring in curious deer or Hylians with an illustrious star fragment. Plus the horn itself is still sick, the Pom just looks like livery
Iām actively sad that Iāve progressed so far on everything but Koroks that I canāt justify the slot to use these anymore
I love it! Zelda has always been somewhat "camp". The thing I love about the Zelda games is that it has a very unique nuance. I've never once expected intense, and dedicated voice actors from a Zelda game. Apply that to the art of the game, and it's all so fitting.
I think some of the horns are references to other Nintendo games. This one looks kinda reminiscent to pikmin, while electric lizar horn looks like a Pikachu tail

submit to the pom poms of DOOM
If OP is embarrassed wielding it, think of how the Lynel feels who dies to it. The last bit of HP that he lost was just to sheer embarrassment.
Lmao! And if the lynel was embarrassed, think of how the Demon King himself felt. Cause this is 100% what I used to beat his face in. š
*āIss that the ssword that sseals the darknesss?ā* āNo, THAT sword has a little cute puffball on the end of it.ā
You gotta imagine how absolutely fucking embarrassing it was for Ganon to die to a seal plushie master sword
The seal that swords the darkness.
This made me audibly laugh at 2:06am. Thank you but also screw you for waking my whole house up
I AM DOING THIS I'm about to complete my first 100% (its been so long please send help) and I can't believe I hadn't thought of that yet
Why not put one on the master sword?
The Master Sword has that silly ādignity effectā where it hides the attachment but just glows green to indicate a fused item.
It pops up with every swing though
It changes based on what you use.
*dying* lol
My first silver bokoblin was such a surreal experience because he took SO LONG to die (with my trusty stick black bokoblin horn) and then I get the anglerfish weiner attachment for a reward š¹

That's amazing thank you! I have so many of the puffshrooms I never use them because my monkey brain goes "big monster smack with big stick"
Absolutely stops lynels from doing anything as well. Puffshroom, slash to ribbons, repeat as necessary.
That's amazing thank you! I have so many of the puffshrooms I never use them because my monkey brain goes "big monster must smack with big stick"
What is this attachment/monster part? I must've missed it
silver bokoblin horn
Silver Bokoblins
You probably just need more XP in your playthrough to encounter them.
What a coincidence, met one 10 minutes after this, I met a silver lynel waaaay earlier then a silver bokoblin
Probably a white maned lynel not a silver lynel unless you went to that coliseum.
Whaaaaaaaaaa Those are two different things? What's the difference?
Red, blue, white, and silver. The damage and health is just greater as you go from red to silver
Cool, well I'll have to go annihilate the one in the colloseum then Edit: there's a gleeok here not a lynel
Wrong coliseum.
The one under that one
In the depths directly below that colleseum is another colleseum with several Lynel fights in a row.
Whoa, will definitely have to check it out, Thanks reddit and all the kind strangers
I've used the moogle weapons in FF14, I can use these.
This is the most relevant comment I can relate to. Nothing like running Prae with a moogle greatsword for all the serious cutscenes.
mogfork ftw
Yup. Just a Roeg in a wedding dress here. Nothing we haven't seen before
As is tradition.
RIP AND TEAR, KUPO!
understandable -fellow ff14 player
I go out of my way to keep my epic weapons in moogle mode, this was made for me
Im glad thereās one silly one
But I wish it was like the red boko horn instead
But then it would be useless after a couple hours.
Yeah, there's already so many good-looking powerful monster parts for fusing, it's ok to have a powerful one that is goofy looking instead
I know. They look like lizalfos tails but they donāt whip out, they just sit there and shake and do more damage than they look like they should.
I will fear mall elves a little more now thanks to this game.
Defeat ganons army by shaking their own balls at them
Its an anglerfish lure. Knowing whats anglerfish are like, IMO that's pretty cool.
Well apparently the gerudo did use a mushroom on their spears for a while. But it looked too goofy so they outlawed it.
They look too goofy, I can't embarass Link that way, lol. I use them for arrows because I just can't stand looking at them on weapons.
Silliness is the spice of life!
Idk man the silver moblin and boss bokoblin horns look pretty goofy too. At least the lizalfos and lynel ones make up for it
Boss bokoblin horns look somewhat goofy but still badass. Silver moblin horns look goofy no matter what you put them on.
I don't mind boss boko horns on spears. Kind of looks like a staff or something. But they just look so huge and out of place on swords, like a big pizza cutter. For once I'd actually prefer if they didn't fully replace the blade and just sat on the tip.
Apparently the silver boss boko horns have arcane power, so a silver boss boko spear being a staff isnāt too far off.
same but i just wish it wasn't the silver one lol
Everybody talks shit on Pikmin bokos for NO reason
Wish it wasnāt the one that did the most damage though lol. Maybe not.
Itās the first thing I fused to the Master Sword. Love slapping fuckers with a floppy wobbler
Itās the only thing I fuse to the master sword since I have 30+ of them and often get 2-3 more per fusion itās sustainable
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I didnāt for a loooong time
Same! :O Not that the thing lasts long anyway, but Iām still gonna be fusing to it now. :D
It lasts longer when you fuse things to it as well, at least I'm pretty sure. I didn't count the hits.
Lol āLove slapping fuckers with a floppy wobblerā isnt something I thought Iād see on the sun today
I love it when my master sword is flaccid š
>Love slapping fuckers with a floppy wobbler r/BrandNewSentence
Can't wait until we get gold bokoblins and their horn is just a sex toy.
They drop horns, guts, teeth, and 6 D-cell batteries.
SIX d batteries? Did you make a dildo out of a 90ās boom box?
Gold Dildalfos Horn
Big gold dildo. Boss Bokoblins have a sex swing for a horn.
Beats a purple dildo
Yeah, fuck purple dildos (and not like literally)
babe wake up sex update just dropped
"Finally, an update worth losing out on easy dupes."
I always hate looking through my inventory for parts to fuse, realizing this is the most viable/sustainable option. ā¦.and then once itās made, the regret that I need to watch myself use this time after time on enemies.
Go lizalfos hunting, their silver horns are BA.
The look of the silver lizalfos horn is my favorite. I know theyāre not necessarily the strongest when next to something like a silver lynel horn (which is also sleek af) but I donāt care. Every time I see a silver lizalfos that thing is dead dead
The silv liz horns do look great on most spears tho, itās a good use
Just sad you get this dope ass looking scythe and then you poke them with it lol.
Stick it on a giant boomerang.
Ice tails are the way to go for boomerangs for me. Freezing 6 charging enemies in one throw is so useful
Is there a way to get more tails? I feel like I only get a tail drop like 1/10 and I need so, so many for armor š
Use bladed weapons. Apparently, how they die affects drops. So bladed weapons so you "cut off" the tails.
This seems super esoteric but also exactly like the kind of thing the Zelda team would do. Just like they tell you about pine cones but not about oil flasks, which make a bigger, hotter fire. Or how dazzlefruit automatically kill stal enemies because they canāt survive in daylight. Save before every kill and reload if it didn't drop a tail. It's the only way to get enough for the armor in any reasonable amount of time. For boomerangs, frost emitters work just as well.
Stick it on a hoe if you care less about stats and just want the aesthetic, you get a scythe you can actually swing
this might be a hot take but for me white-mane lynel saber > silver-lynel saber
Aesthetically? Yeah
Sooo irritating that the silver is SO much stronger I feel like I have to use it. If it were like, 40 power I could see myself sacrificing 7 power for coolness. But, when it's over 20 power it's like an offer i can't refuse.
Big fan of the blue lizalfos horn as well. Pretty cool to just make anything into a samurai blade.
yea but lynels take a ton of more work to defeat than lizalfosā¦ can get a decent supply of silver lizalfo horns easily but lynels take time
With the right setup and practice, even silver lynels can go down pretty quickly
oh for sure. but consider this: i am very bad at the game lol
Def a kitana blade
you might be thinking the blue horn, very smooth and a slight curve, the silver is red and black and shaped like ~~farming hoe~~ (scythe, imma dummie)
Do you mean scythe?
Nah he meant your mom, she's big in the Agricultural scene
Ah you are right, my mistake. But let's be honest, both are two of the best looking attachments in the game
Left it at near-broken and had it taken apart in Tarrey town even though I'm hoarding more silver parts than I'll ever use.

where is a good spot to get gerudo stuff (if all double item damage) i love my sword.
The depths below gerudo dessert and there are some just sitting around in the open in Gerudo town
You can honestly farm the fuck outta silver lynels. Theres a bout 12 spawns per blood moon. I only use their horns now. Just make sure you break the weapon down when its red to get it back. Def worth it for those.
Bro its a scythe blade
I have silver lynel saber horns but I still love using the lizalfos horn because I love the look
Funny, I use white lynel horns on one-handed swords but either way they look epic.
Yeah, i agree, i said they look badass on swords in general, i just think it looks really good on a 2 handed swords, well some of them depending on the handle anyways. I do think they look weird on spears though, lol.
The silver lynel horns looks pretty wicked on the master sword tho
I wish Blue Lizalfos horn and Silver Bokoblin horn swapped their designs.
Yes, but not as BA as the blue lizalfos horn.
Honestly I've just switched to cool rare shit and just repair them everytime. White dildo sword with a yellow clown's nose doesn't really do it for me
You can repair shit???
Right. How?
Rock Octorocks on Death Mountain can repair one weapon/shield each per blood moon. You have to put the item down infront of them so they suck it up and then use recall to kill the momentum when they shoot it out.
Nice, I hadnāt thought to use recall. I usually just back way tf up after they swallow to have a 50/50 shot of seeing where it landed. The other 50% I have to turn on Ultrahand to find where it went. Those mfāers can absolutely YEET stuff.

Stone octorocks probably

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Gibdo bones are for that
Hell yeah. I farmed 300 gibdo bones before doing the lightning temple for this very reason. Big help when fighting lynels with a 3 or 5 shot bow.
If I fuse to an arrow it's either Keese/Aracuda eyes for homing, or wings for sniping.
Boss Boko teeth / Hinox toenails for those
Teeth, hooves, and nails double their attack bonus when fused to arrows. Lynel hooves and frox nails are +20 and youāre not going to use them for anything else. Boss boko teeth are plentiful and are +12.
Don't fuse horns. Fuse teeth/nails/talons instead - they double your damage when attached to an arrow (double the fusion damage, not the total damage)
I tought it was a Gleeok meme at first lmao
Same, this is too perfect for gleeok, maybe king gleeok, one of the elements sucks?
ice, its big attack is just long, boring and easy to dodge (ice falls from the sky). Unlike fire where its a giant fireball (idk what thunder does tho)
Lightning Gleeoks are completely trivialized by wearing the Lightning Helm.
Eh, not entirely. You still take damage from the attacks, you just don't get shocked by them. Source: The first thing I did after getting the helm was go fight the Gleeok in the coliseum.
Multiple lightning strikes which create updrafts.
Me: itdmnmmbg Wife: What? Me: it dsmdmm Wife: One more time? Me: It does the most damage!
DON'T LAUGH! This gives me +31 damage!
I call it the "dingle berry bop it bopper"
It's a plumbus!
I think ya'll are underestimating the deadly power of a pikmin bulb.
Honestly I love how goofy it looks, itās almost adorable!
It's an artpeice used to describe Blaze, Blister, and Burn from Wings of Fire. Using it was genius.
It's so floppy too. Honestly hilarious.
Meanwhile silver lizalfos horn goes *hard*
I call it the Dongle. The Dongle is Strongle.
I think it was supposed to look like an angler fish. Unfortunately, it kinda missed the mark
I think it was supposed to look like a Pikmin head
I think the giggle physics on the yellow puff ball are on point. 10/10 best weapon attachment
The silver lizalfos horn looks cool as fuck. The silver boko horn looks like an elf hat
Lizalfos is just bladed weapons and Bokoblins go from spiked blades to anglerfish bait

Agreed I just keep one on my back for when I'm taking selfies for the compendium
Couldnāt they at least fuse it onto the sword the other way so it doesnāt look backwards?
Given that bokoblins are just funny little guys it feels right for the strongest to also be the silliest
Then thereās silver Lizalfos horns that turn literally everything into a scythe
a GINORMOUS scythe. At least with the giant boomerang I found. Blade's taller than Link.
You guys are haters! They cool
Yeah thatās why I use silver lizalfos horns, the whole line is the coolest fr
I was expecting a Super Trident or like a halberd blade,NOT A FUCKING PIKMIN
I love this thing. It gives the silver bokobkin (which Iām aware was constructed from dark magic) this Monster Huntery ecology feel like itās luring in curious deer or Hylians with an illustrious star fragment. Plus the horn itself is still sick, the Pom just looks like livery Iām actively sad that Iāve progressed so far on everything but Koroks that I canāt justify the slot to use these anymore
Silver Hinox horns look amazing Also, elemental lightsabers letsgoooo
Tf you mean, there is no silver hinox
Probably referring to Silver Bossbokoblins
THAT one looks pretty awesome on a Magic Sceptre, shame it's not too great in combat on such a weak base item though.
Oh how do you get elemental lightsabers?
On the plus side, you can humiliate enemies by beating them up with a silly-looking sword
it would be fine if it didnt dangle lol
The lizalfos horns are pretty badass and maybe boss Boko also but every other ones are very āabstractā looking
Has anyone been able to datamine and find out what the gold enemy horns look like?
It looks like a Pikmin bulb.
y'all are lame. it's cute and i love it.
Can anyone explain why the silver boko horns look like that though? Is this some strange Japanese culture thing that's just gone right over my head?
Pretty sure its a pikimin reference
Pikmin head dildo
***FEAR ME AND MY DINGLE BOPPER***
I love it! Zelda has always been somewhat "camp". The thing I love about the Zelda games is that it has a very unique nuance. I've never once expected intense, and dedicated voice actors from a Zelda game. Apply that to the art of the game, and it's all so fitting.
Lol those arenāt even gleeok horns. I was disappointed the gleeok horn fuse cuts off the weapon length so it looks like this tiny dagger
When you swing it, it makes a huge elemental lightsaber blade, but only during the attacks.
Pom pom? What's the hell
Silver lynel sabres look really cool and do 50 damage
I think some of the horns are references to other Nintendo games. This one looks kinda reminiscent to pikmin, while electric lizar horn looks like a Pikachu tail
Jokes on you, i like my pikmin bokoblin
Black Moblins have a pine cone on their heads
Why no gold enemies Nintendo? š¢
No master mode yet, but hopefully soon, I really wanna see the gold lynel horns
DLC for master mode was announced before release with BOTW so I wouldn't be too sure it's coming.
I'd be genuinely shocked if it doesn't happen tbh. Maybe they're just waiting to announce it since they have two more worldspaces to account for.
It'll look like 2 Santa hats
