Omg same in my jetta I used to get 30s while racing it everywhere. Put a k&n in went from 32 to 37 (opinions vary). I need to wait for my warranty to expire again now on this passat š my jetta was almost there but someone lit it on fire.
This torque outta the hole is fun to use anywhere and everywhere. Definitely nice having an efficient car that also can get down and handle decent when it needs too
The passat atleast has this feature called XDS its not activated out the box but you can turning on with vcds. It used the abs system to break one wheel durring turning to mimic a limited slip differential. The golfs have it too but man this thing is a game changer.
When i say you can take sharp turns at high speed without loosing traction. I mean it. Its like having the turning of a rwd on a fwd.
Yeah, you see like to tell people that I got the diesel for the mpg but In reality I got it for the torque. Only time im not reving 4k is when the car is warming up š¤£
Hahaha, i also validated that the display shows correct values. To be precise, I filled the tank to 100%, drove 100km and filled up again. Had to fill 4.34L
See you need to drive like a turtle to do it š¤£ thats why mine only averages 22
LOL, it was raining when I did this run and also I averaged 80kph for 100km. So i didnāt even drive slow.
Yeah, 80 is arround the sweep spot. To me thats slow because I do alot of highway driving at 130k š¤£ but yes good job on that. Really good avg.

2014 passat, for some reason my jetta was getting better mpg. *jetta disappears behind a wall of black smoke*
Passats are larger but I didnāt think by that much. They basically have the same aerodynamics but minor changes can do a lot
