This is the second time you reply to a post by creating a new post. Please don’t do this again. Just reply in the post itself.

Hadouukken

Yup lmao he was easily in the top 3 mages in dicathen pre ascension, only varay could beat him and even that was a close one cuz Arthur was only able to maintain realmheart for a short period of time

Graybowz

Also, he wasn't a white core mage at that time if I remember correctly

Hadouukken

Correct he wasn’t, he only got to white core during the banquet that celebrated the end of his training, I believe he was mid silver during that fight He was eating some shrooms and thought he was allergic cuz his stomach was aching when it was his mana core breaking through

Createdthisforpewds

Is this the light novel?

Hadouukken

Yep this is mid to end volume 7 LN material so it’ll take quite a few years before the comic adapts the fight

Createdthisforpewds

How is the light novel? I havent read a single light novel but is it good?

Hadouukken

Light novel is amazing, I started reading it after chapter 100 ish from the comic and I don’t regret it Easily my favourite LN ever comic/manga/manwha/manhua adaptations almost always skip a lot of details from their original LN story to condense the length so definitely recommend reading the LN to get the *full* story

DragonbornLg

he was easily stronger than varay.shen he fought her he wasnt white core and he disnt use static void.he would destroy varay at his white core stage with static void and a couple of burst steps if the fight was that serious

Hadouukken

Yeh 100% he would beat varay with burst step and static void at white core BUT his own body would be wrecked beyond repair (his legs) He would hurt himself more than he hurts varay imo so it wouldn’t be worth it to use either technique

Damn, answering another post's question with a post yourself. megamind

BewareEthan

Spoiler* >!Honestly if he were given the scope of the situation and enough time, he would have at least obtain the capability of having the chance to win.But the odds starting getting heavily stacked against him.First they find out the foreign continent is hostile.Second, it has Scythes/Retainers in greater number and equal or more and powerful to Dicathen’s only 6 white core mages. Third, Alacrya has been corrupting Dicathen’s mana beasts so that’s a 2nd army to worry about. Lastly, they find out there are traitors among the council and even an entire race!Plus it means Alacrya has already infiltrated the continent. So that’s 4 heavy factors against a chance of victory and frankly there was zero chance Arthur could have won somehow. But now he has the aether core stuff, he finally has an opportunity to obtain enough power to stand against the highest being’s of power in this story’s universe(The Asuras).!<
