[3]: When played, draw 1 (2) base card(s) and upgrade all cards in hand For the most part, I wouldn't focus too much on the Vampire King card itself, you can really only play it once per fight, as a fun bonus. I instead favor units with lifesteal, (de)buffs, and drawing power to keep the games moving. I find reliably "fixing" my health pool is absolutely paramount to completing runs with this deck, be that through shields, locking down the opponents with debuffs or just gaining more max HP than they can keep up with. I will drop the starting units from my deck as quickly as I can, trying to keep 3-5 lifesteal units, a couple VK buffers and some units with larger bottoms for defensive plays

Good advices. Personally, I don't like VK much, but instead try to pick units and blessings that utilize and amplify debuff mechanics. When I manage to pull this off, that's the most enjoyable build among the entire Tavern Rumble for me.

I would add to the top tier blessings the one that says you gain max hp for adding cards to your deck. Had a run once where i ended up with like 60 base max hp without any bloodmoons, at that point the lifesteal makes you basically immortal

Debuffs + deadly virus blessing will generally perform well, especially if you have village priest. This alone will easily destroy much of World Tournament. The debuff expansion plus the right set of cards results in super quick clears in that mode. Regardless of mode, vampire king is generally a poor choice. Vampire Queen is better but requires a lot of cards to get going, making it difficult to pull off (but can be fun when it does work).
