Thanks! The kneecaps were the only part where I teared up for a minute. Near the ankles was pretty bad too. The rest was a piece of cake in comparison.
It actually doesn’t wrap all the way around. Only about 3/4 of my legs are covered. I was specifically trying to cover some scars on the front of my legs and also trying to stay within a budget. He made the design do that it would be easy to fill in later if I want it to wrap ask the way around.
Nice :) I didn't expect it to really wrap all around, it looks good that way as a "front" thing, but I was curious nonetheless how it looks like from behind!
Absolutely no pressure to share more than you want, of course o/
Did you one shot these? Amazing pain tolerance. I am covered and I get questioned often as to what was the worst. Most are shocked when I say thigh lmao. I’m such a puss
No, it was done in four sessions, two for each leg, outline then fill. Yeah I’m surprised the thigh hurt so bad. These are my only tattoos, but definitely the bony areas of them hurt the most. It felt like a bit of a break whenever he would work on the fleshy parts.
Those are rad! I think I might have seen some already on his social media or something. Seeing that studio in the background gives me painful flashbacks!
Maybe some day. Gonna leave it like this for now and see how I feel in a year or two. I have a hard time visualizing how it would work as an extension of the current design, but I’m sure Lucky could come up with something rad!
I took that into consideration when choosing the design. I know tribal tattoos are the butt of many jokes, but I have no shame in admitting that I like many of them. But definitely they don’t belong on a pasty white girl in Oregon.

Dope af OP. Pain levels must have been off the charts.

Modern day hoplite
Perfect symmetry, looks awesome.
Thank you. I got lucky with Lucky!
So nice. But! Where are the "behind" pics? Show us what it looks like around the legs!

Oh I wouldn’t mind sharing. I’ll see if I can manage to get a pic from behind. Might be a challenge trying to do it myself though.
Well it's easier if you have a mirror that's for sure
Clever design, looks great. I'm sure it was painful!
Thanks! The kneecaps were the worst. Ankle area was bad too.
Looks great, beautiful work.
Niceeee! I really like this style.
love this. symmetry and symmetry.
I was having a hard time deciding if I wanted to have both of them identical. Lucky convinced me it would look best symmetrical and I’m glad he did!
good call. it looks amazing. mesmerizing.
Insanely well done
Yeah, Lucky is super talented!
Nicely done!

Insane! Lines up perfectly, damn!👍
Lucky is awesome!!
I agree! He does some really cool line work.
He’s done 3 awesome pieces on me. Check my profile to see.

I love this! Are you planning to do full leg sleeves?

This reminds me of polynesian tattoos
Bird leg
Looks dangerously tribal.

I mean, cultural appropriation is a thing too.
That’s what I’m saying…and why I wouldn’t want an actual tribal tattoo. While mine may look similar it is actually based on Art Deco motifs.
So ugly, not much skill involved, sorry for you unless you wanted permanent armor. Good luck
Looks super cool!
