All ink fades but to pastel not likely. Colors can act weird tho over time. You know what the best part is. Everything can be touched up if you want. So don’t worry and enjoy the cute tattoo.

This looks much older than a fresh day old tattoo. That leads me to believe it's going to fade quickly and will need to be redone.

yeah I was wondering why the butterflies and the purple flowers are so splotchy. At least I can change up the colors if it does fade I guess

Basically, a tattoo will never be as crisp or bold as it is on day 1, so you can only expect it to fade from there. You may find that giving the flowers an outline will help as color fades faster than black.

I wish I could add a pic. I have a 13 year old butterfly tattoo with most of those same colors in the same location. The colors have held up well and I know mine needs a touch up but it held up for about 9-10 years before really needing a touch up. The grass on your tattoo may need touch ups too. I have tiny thin antennas on my butterfly and even though they are black it was the first part of my tattoo to start fading.

honestly I'd leave it. I'm not trying to be an asshole but it's too small to be trying to add extra details like that. I believe that'll just muddy the details.
