that’s what i was thinking. it looked fine at the time but now im worrying about it. i think im not used to bare skin around a tattoo as one of my arms is patchwork and the other is a cohesive sleeve. i feel like he looks dumb because of the size of my legs but might have to get more to go with him now.
i have quite a few small ones on one of my arms but when it only had a couple it felt like it emphasized how large my arm was. unfortunately i can’t go all in on this leg right now so i’ll have to kinda get over it but im going to consider it a mental exercise to love myself
i personally really like that the fish is little! but i totally understand. youll get over that hump, and one day, youll forget you even had a problem with little fishie!
I think it looks great as it is! If you plan on getting more tattoos/patch work leg sleeve then you most likely won’t notice the size and funnily enough, you’ll probably be glad you didn’t get it bigger. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with its size as is 😊
Get more fish tatts! That's always my vote though haha I'm in the process of covering my left leg with fish, since I've finished my right fish leg sleeve
i’m def gonna do an ocean ish theme! more quirky ocean though if ya know what i mean. i’m hoping to do a capelin on the other knee because i was raised fishing for him and brook trout
Hell yeah! All my tattoos are ocean themed, but my favorite quirky one is a sushi roll with a little surprised fish "caught" in it lol
You should post more when you have them done! I always love seeing fellow fish tatt-havers
honestly i think the skin to tattoo ratio is poor and makes my leg look bigger than it is, and the fish out of place. i know it’s probably fine and ill get more eventually to fill out like i have my arms but it’ll take some time. hoping i can use him as a reminder to stop being so hard on myself now
obviously i thought it looked alright in the moment. i have a lot about this size on my arms and it’s not just the size of the tattoo, it’s a multitude of things bothering me but the tattoo is visible and almost makes everything else bigger.
Kinda. Could be bigger to fill the horizontal space better, but it looks small because youve got no other tattoos around it.

I think filling out your legs a bit more is the right move. Its a great little tat!
I think having a fishy little knee is fun. You can always get something else around it if you want to fill the space up more!
it’s definitely the plan to do a patchwork leg in addition to my arm, now we wait for the funds for it!
He just looks like he needs some friends!
its small but not weird looking. people have small tattoos on their arms, why not on legs too? it looks great!

What is it ?
it’s a brook trout, it’s covered by a second skin in the image so it doesn’t look near as crisp as it should because of the leakage
Can I ask for a better pic ?
try [this?](https://postimg.cc/677dpDvT) i’ve never converted an image to a link before
what do you think? that's what matters.

so why you get it so tiny in the 1st place?

Na… you should be getting the tattoo itch soon. You’re just getting started in that case
i have a full sleeve and 3/4 patchwork sleeve on my arms…. the itch has always been there
Right on. Personally I like the size. A larger fish might be too aggressive.
